When it was inaugurated back in 1999 it had quite an impact in Bilbao. The city didn’t have at that point any modern/contemporary music house where the acoustic was a key factor and the experience the public received was the main factor. And all that change with this building. I performed many times myself in this building and I can confirm how well conceived the different spaces inside are. For the artist there are many small rooms with bed and sofas, a nice and spacious cafeteria. For the audience there is two bars where they can get pintxos during the show, and a very nice and famous restaurant besides the main entrance.
