The mixed salad was mediocre and the swordfish tasted good but substantial flavouring. Also, it felt as though I was being rushed through my food. The atmosphere at the restaurant was good however and service was quick. Despite this, the total at the end of the meal was far higher than I believed it should have been for the quality of food served.

If the fish was any fresher, you would be eating it inside the ocean. What a great and lively place packed with locals. The food is amazing as well as the service, lots of people and other restaurants close by also packed arrive early if you don't want to whait. WORTH THE WHAIT IF YOU HAVE TO! Estaban todos los bares de la zona a tope y aquí encontramos una mesa para tres en la terraza. La calle es muy bonita y tienen bastantes mesas. En principio nos acomodaron rápido pero a partir de ahí todo muy muy muy lento, hasta el punto de ver como una pareja que se sentó justo después de nosotros acabaron sus platos, pagaron y se levantaron antes de que a nosotros nos pusieran el primer plato. Tuvimos que esperar más de media hora hasta que salió la primera ración de tortilla de camarones (normales, demasiado sabor a fritura). Unos 30 minutos después llegaron con las otras dos raciones: choco a la plancha (bien) y un revuelto de patatas con huevo y bacalao.(muy soso) El servicio totalmente caótico. Camareros con platos de un lado para otro sin rumbo. No sé si fue algo excepcional o es así siempre, pero no lo recomiendo. Y la comida que probamos, bastante normal, no destacaría nada en concreto.

Simple dishes but carefully prepared and tasty food. Fresh fish is brought in daily, and you will be a fool not to try it! We tried the gaspacho, plus the swordfish, tuna and pork, all grilled and delicious. By default they come with fries, but i ordered pimentas fritas (fried peppers) as my side, and that was a blast! Ordered a mixed platter and squids. They forgot our order and it took way more than an hour to deliver. The orders were not fresh and heavily deep fried . Also in the mixed platter everything was deep fried. After finishing the food we both feel disgusted. Tourist trap, without a doubt. Both of us feel like throwing up after the dinner.

Except one, really nice black guy, they didn't speak English.

We had a great very late lunch at this restaurant (3:45pm) on a Thursday in December. The manager and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We eyed a few fish in the freezer that looked great and chose them grilled. The fish and side dishes were wonderful. They also gave us dessert and even a shot of alcohol (from the bar next door).
