What a lucky find, we had gone for a walk across the bridge and while wondering we saw the tables outside and thought we would grab some quick food. Low and behold this was way more then that this is some of the tastiest food we had in our whole time in Spain and many other places. We were told the special was a lobster paella and we're shown the lobster that would be cooked which was still alive to show how fresh the food is. For starters we shared fried anchovies and fried calamari and both were full of flavour and cooked to perfection with a side of olives and bread. Then the main event which was as fresh a food as you can get and a large portion of some of the tatsiest paella you could ever get, rice cooked perfectly with tons of flavour and the lobster and other seafood cooked to the highest standard. If I wasn't so full I would've had dessert as I am sure if the rest of the food was anything to go by it would've been great. So visit take a walk and eat some great food some of the best food that is clearly cared for alongside brilliant service from people who genuinely care.

I had a lunch here on Saturday, the restaurant was not busy and I have received a great service - I have spoken to the waiter and the chef as well. I wanted to try many plates (4!) but the chef kindly advised that it would be too much food for 1 person, so I have decided to try 2 plates: a local soup salmorejo and an octopus (pulpo) for my main. Wow - it was absolutely delicious, both plates were very tasty and with a lot of flavour. Note that portions are pretty big, but that’s a good thing of course! I would totally recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cordoba!

What a great experience. Sometimes, as a foodie and traveller, you wonder what makes a dish so famous and special, and it’s here that I understood what an excellent paella is, and what it is about. Full of umami from the seafood, fish and squid both cooked to perfection, remaining tender and super fresh. Even with a language barrier, Francisco provided great service and Jorge the chef came personally to check that we enjoyed the food. These guys are extremely passionate and really care about what they do. Highly recommend.
