A true gem in town!

What a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. This restaurant is such a great little gem in the area — cozy atmosphere, warm staff, and absolutely delicious food. We ordered two appetizers and the fish as our main course, and every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and thoughtfully balanced.

The service was top-notch — attentive without being intrusive. We were especially impressed by Carils and Lorenzo, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about creating a great experience for their guests.

2 days ago we had lunch my husband, daughter and grandson at the bar. It was 13:30 , Tuesday, and almost all the tables were reserved in advance!!! If this doesn' t speak about exquisite cuisine...what will? Personally I ordered a fish stew, magnificently cooked by the very Chef. My daughter went for a suckling kid shoulder, some bull tail "croquettes" and all of us felle for garlicky shrimps...delicious!!! ¡Muy recomendable!

Aunque mi pareja ya conocía el sitio y ha ido varias veces, era mi primera experiencia con ellos y acabé contento.

Pedimos un carpaccio de presa de primero y decir que estaba increíble. Después seguimos con el cochinillo aunque no era una gran ración. Nosotros la compartimos y se nos quedó algo corta. Aún así, el cocinado estaba increíble. Para acabar, nos decidimos por la torrija y fue todo un acierto. Estaba muy jugosa y bien acompañada por helado. Sabores compensados sin morir de dulzura.

Hubo dos detalles muy buenos por parte del jefe de sala. Por un lado, llamamos porque íbamos retrasados para llegar y no puso ningún problema. Al llegar con media hora de retraso teníamos nuestra mesa. Esto lo remarco porque en un día festivo y con el local hasta arriba creo que fue muy considerado de su parte.

Por otro lado, aunque el servicio tardó un poco más de lo habitual (según me dijo mi pareja), era más que entendible en un día en el que estaba lleno y las mesas se servían sin parar. Pero el detalle fue el del jefe de sala que vino a disculparse la final de la comida por la tardanza. Por nosotros ningún problema, entendíamos que era una circunstancia normal.

Lo dicho, totalmente recomendable si queréis una buena comida por Cáceres. La calidad precio es adecuada, siendo un restaurante...
