Unfortunately there is no option to put zero stars. This place is a disgrace. It started well when we reserved the table in the morning. Very pleasant person. The dinner was another story. We ordered a paella for two. Since you cannot order one paella for yourself. We were told that the paella with lobster was not longer available. They have run out of regular lobster. But the waiter said that for more money we could have a paella with King Lobster. We went for it. When the dish arrived we knew that it was going not to be good. First of all was not a King Lobster. The paella tasted horrible. It was very poor. Presentation don't even want to discuss about it. So we didn't it a good part of it. We pretty much left it all. The fried calamari we ordered as an appetizer was another flop. A diner would have been better. The waiter cleared the table at the end of the dinner we didn't eat. He asked if we wanted the rest of the dinner to go. We said the food was horrible. No apologies. Nothing. Zero. They almost ruined our night. Luckily we went to another place were they made our night. Conclusion: if you want paella go...
Read moreWe had a very nice 10 days stay in Cadaques. We went for dinner each night and enjoyed our meals. Paëlla is one of our favorites and we decided to have dinner here as they are specialized in Spanish Rice dishes. We got the friendly staff and the intense explanation. We ordered the oven dish scallops for two and the shrimp cuttlefish for two. Two pans for approx. 100 euros. What a disappointment it turned out to be. First of all it was not enough. The pans where approx 5-6 deep but the dish covered 1 cm. 4 small shrimps on top and some slices of cuttlefish. Nothing more. It was ridiculous for the amount paid. The oven dish was caked to the bottom of the paëllapan. We mentioned our problems to the waiter and he said he would tell the chef. That’s it. Waisted money…..There are many better places to...
Read moreWelcome to another tourist trap. The seafood with rice arrived lukewarm, salty and with undercooked (crunchy) rice. The only thing tasty was the minimal seafood on top. They do not list any wine by the glass on the menu to get you to buy a bottle, which is of course very overpriced. And good luck with service, they dropped the starter food on the floor and still charged us for it. We said it was ok but that’s before we realized the snack was not included in the price. They also charge you for water in their special bottle with a label from the restaurant itself that I’m very sure is actually just from the tap. What a waste of money and a special mella while...
