You made us feel un-welcome. We know we are not Spanish, nor do we look like we’re from around there - but you and your team do not have the right to do that, make us feel embarrassed, and NOT say sorry to us and just laugh at us (plot twist: we all speak Spanish and we know what you were saying to your team and your manager :) we do not deserve your insults!!). I recently spent a weekend in Cadaques and was keen to try Suquet de Peix (Catalan fish stew) which I'd seen a local fisherman cook for a TV programme featuring British chef Jamie Oliver....Not all restaurants serve the dish in the village but I asked the owner/chef at Toc de Mar, and he said yes he'd prepare the dish for me if I made a booking. It was fabulous - a selection of season fish, prawns and potatoes in a delisious sauce served in a huge metal bowl - cooked to perfection, its the best fish dish Ive tasted in years - and I only eat fish and veg dishes! Great service, dishes cooked by the owner himself - not formulaic, not hurried. Just a great experience, personal attention and at a great price - which for seafood of this quality...

Raramente scrivo recensioni negative su un posto in cui vado a mangiare, dal momento che conosco bene le difficoltà di gestione di un ristorante e sono sempre molto elastico anche quando capitano cose spiacevoli.

Questa volta però non posso esimermi dal lasciare un commento, sia per mettere in guardia i futuri clienti, ma anche per comunicare al proprietario che ci sono delle lacune evidenti nella offerta proposta.

Avevamo molte aspettative dopo aver letto le recensioni di questo posto e non vedevamo l'ora di passare un giorno tranquillo a Cadaques. Purtroppo il pranzo non è andato come ci aspettavamo.

Mi duole dirlo, ma ahimè, il livello del cibo è quello di una mensa aziendale quando il cuoco principale è in vacanza. La sangria era annacquata e aveva il sapore di un'acqua con frutta, l'arroz meloso era senza sale, troppo bollito e non aveva alcun sapore e, per finire, il calamaro ripieno di gamberi e merluzzo era assolutamente immangiabile. Non credo di aver mai mangiato qualcosa di così sgradevole e, se posso fare un appello a chi gestisce il ristorante, vi prego di considerare di rimuovere questa pietanza dal menu. Ne va del vostro nome, credetemi!

Pagare piu di 70 EUR per un pranzo simile l'ho trovato fuori dal mondo. Ripeto, il livello è quello di una mensa aziendale.

Mi dispiace molto parlare in questi termini del vostro locale, ma è l'unica maniera che ho per esprimervi il mio disappunto e sperare che possiate migliorare l'offerta.

Per quello che costano i vostri piatti (l'immangiabile calamaro 18 EUR, tre rondelle di calamaro in salsa, 3, con un mestolo di riso!), il cliente si aspetta di mangiare in una determinata maniera.

Mi auguro che possiate leggere queste parole non come un attacco, ma come uno stimolo a migliorare.

Unica nota positiva: il servizio offerto dalle ragazze, tutte...
