Pizzeria Plaza Cadaqués — Restaurant in Cadaqués

The restaurant was really busy so we had to wait outside until a table became available, but once we were seated we were promptly served. The food is okay, nothing special. It was quite cold and windy outside, we were seated close to the door which wasn’t great because of the sliding door being opened and closed frequently, some of the customers left the door open so we had to close it ourselves, so not a great experience. For dessert my girlfriend had the recommended tiramisu, which was mediocre at best and I had the apple crumble which was really awful, it was just shop bought apple pie filling warmed up with a teaspoon of ice cream, no crumble at all. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to friends and family but I guess the food is edible, for lack of choice it’s okay to have a meal there...

What a lovely surprise! Me and my wife were strolling along looking for a place to eat that was not a tourist trap. We get nervous when restaurants at the beach front. We took a risk and went to this great restaurant. Everything here was perfect and priced just right. The pizza was extraordinary and I had fried little fish(boquerones), also the sangria was perfect. I am extremely picky with sangrias and pizza a d they blew my mind on how good it was. The temperature of the beer was perfect. A truly memorable experience and like one of the best restaurants related to the experience. The owner is Italian and enjoyed talking with the daughter’s owner which made sure we had a great time....

Had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The owner is gluten-free herself, so she really knows what’s safe and what’s not. They offer great gluten-free options, including both pizza and pasta. I had the pasta for lunch and loved it so much I came back for dinner. The owner always made sure to point out the gluten-free dessert options—cheesecake and a delicious chocolate cake made with almond flour. I highly recommend this spot.
