Cafè Antic — Restaurant in Calella

We found this cocktail bar after just a short search on Google, we arrived just as the place was opening and we were met with friendly smiles and welcomes. They claim they have the best sangria in town, however I found this was not the case…. It was the best sangria in EUROPE!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the recommended cocktails did not disappoint, everything we ordered was made fresh from scratch. As for pricing, The menu has very consistent prices and never do you feel as though it was expensive, I’d actually like to say it was pretty cheap considering the service you get. We had a great time. The cocktails were very good and cheap! The restaurant owners and their son were lovely. One of the people in our group wasn’t drinking anything, so they brought a menu and told her to choose a drink that she would get for free. They also gave us advice for our trip to Barcelona and told us that (as a group of girls) it would be safer to just go to our apartment tonight. Found ourselves in this bar on 2 occasions and each time, we were reluctant to leave. Great bar, great atmosphere, great conversation and ran by a lovely family. Nibbles brought out with the drinks ( which i love) all made for a perfect place to stop. Our first time in Calella supporting a family member doing the ironman.
