If it was possible to give this restaurant -5 stars I would… After the first couple of interactions with the server, my fiancé already had a bad feeling, but I decided to give the benefit of the doubt and so we stayed. Fast forward to when our food arrived which was the tip of the iceberg (after a lot of other juicy, disappointing details occurred, ofcourse) I had ordered a beef steak (medium) and what was delivered to me was a well done steak (extra chewy), yet since we were hungry.. we decided not to mention it. Shortly after receiving the food, a server that we had not interacted with before came and asked how the meat “specifically” tasted… and we honestly replied. We mentioned that the steak we ordered was not cooked how we asked, but it was okay and we would finished anyways. That server argued back, and so another server came and also argued… and third but not least…! The big guy, either he was the owner or the chef himself came up to the table, said nothing, started to take the food off the table and said “Es mi casa, allez” *Translation- “it’s my house, let’s go” And so… long story short, we ended up getting kicked out of the restaurant after we honestly answered a question that their own server asked us. We were asked about the taste of the food, and an honest answer is what we gave. The impression we got was that this kind of unprofessional behavior with the guests is definitely not the first time, as it seemed to come very natural to most staff, and most definitely won’t be the last time. I understand that different people will go in with different expectations & experiences, but I would strongly suggest not to spend your precious time & money in this restaurant! Opt for nearby places with top tier...
Read moreWaiter had the charisma of an overripe banana which had no ill effect until i decided to order the Chicken skewer, the pork ribs and the childrens hamburger. I was originally going to order a pizza as its often a safe bet when dining the unknown, but having looked into their uraguiyan heritage i decided to order something typically uraguiyan.
Big mistake....
The chicken skewer was actually not awful, a little dry, but rather flavoursome. The fact there was 1 skewer that consisted of 4 cubes of chicken and half a pepper attached for 13 euros was wild. My partner ordered the pork ribs which came on the same grill as the chicken skewers , but the garnish of potatoes was half raw and we had 4 potstoes between us perhaps.. The ribs unfortunately were rather unedible... A shame, as there was 4 entire ribs but the taste and texture had been obliterated in the defrosting / microwaving process..... Disguisting. The ribs were 16 euros and we had to share a garnish......
Kids meal was frozen crap. Child liked it but i can get the same fries 400 miles away in the UK.
Poor show, should of ordered pizza: should of gone back to Don Carlos. Gross business practice and customer service.
Thank you for coming to...
Read moreOut and out appalling employees! Utterly disgusted by the shear rudeness and ignorance showed to me and my partner. We asked for a table for two; all tables were either full or needed clearing so 'it' said to us you'll have to wait for a clean table which we thanked and patiently waited. A table was cleaned and we were left to wait 10 minutes before we sat ourselves down before someone else got it. We then waited another 10 minutes for menus which were supplied in the wrong language. 'it' tutted at me and another 5 minutes passed before English menus were supplied. 'it' came back to take drink orders and I asked my partner which Sangria she wanted 'it' then walked off and said I'll come back when you are ready. We then waited another 10 minutes before we got up and left. During the above timeline we witnessed new people been seated, menus supplied quickly and orders taken. Not sure what we did wrong exactly and I've never experienced anything like it. Needless to say we found another gorgeous restaurant and spent the best part of 150 euros.......I also believe in Karma!! Definitely visit here if you are English and enjoy some racist...
