Tsunami La Gàbia — Restaurant in Calella

Very rude manager to customers and his workers I went in for a takeaway coffee. He told me they don't make takeaway just table service. I said thanks. Took 13 table and got served. Finished my coffee and went in to pay.

He looked at me and yelled in my face like I didn't understand him raising his hands and pointing outside.' I told you to go take a table and the waiter will come to you'

I explained that I've already been served drunk the coffee and ready to pay. He seemed confused, and the waiter came in pointing to my empty cup.

Then he started yelling at him in Spanish.

I was shocked and walked away telling a few of my buddies to go elsewhere.

Great location on the beach shame about this one person bringing the cafe name down .

I recommend other cafes...

Really comfortable place with a stunning menu del dia for €25 during my stay. Someone with a heart for cooking behind the food. True- I had to translate online some of the options, but absolutely worth of it. Place located on a strip next to the beach, giving you excellent hideaway on hot days, close to children playground so you can enjoy sangria whilst watching your loved ones. Beach just a stone throw away and great to have that little extra toilet facility. Been here twice and on both occasions no disappointment! They were so rude- rolled their eyes amd tutted when I asked particular drinks- I questioned their reaction- young female gave this reaction. She didn't think I would question her poor customer service. Myself & my child were clearly just looking for some drinks to quench our thirst from 30 degree heat. Very poor. Don't recommend it. Only sorry I didnt check reviews beforehand. They clearly in a prime location therefore no effort required! Try other places first- had amazing experiences...
