cafeseamos — Restaurant in Calp

Our first visit to Cafeseamos today, and we will definitely be back for more. Excellent selection of sweet and savoury things to have with your tea, coffee, smoothie, or something a little stronger. We had the carrot cake and the red velvet cake along with a tea and an Americano, and it was delicious, in fact, the best carrot cake I have tasted yet in and around Costa Blanca North. The reason for my high praise it due to the flavour, texture, how light the cake was, and lastly, how large the portion size was, yum! A large selection of hot and cold drinks available, with or without alcohol. Cafeseamos seating arrangement is also quite cool, set up as a relaxed, bright, modern, comfortable, lounge-style indoors, and bistro feel outdoor. Cafeseamos is a few minutes short walk from Arenal Bol, and its location provides some welcome shade (as well as sunny spots) in the heat of the day. All in all, I would definitely recommend a visit to Cafeseamos, I don't think you will be disappointed in the choice, ambience, or service provided...

Exceptionally bad service! We went to the cafe on a rainy day with our 3 kids so they could play in the playroom. The playroom was messy and a lot of the toys were missing bits and pieces. It the service was bad to say the least and the food was nowhere near good enough to make up for it. we had to go get the waiter after wIti go 15min. Then we had to make our order 3 times e auss the waiter wasnt aware of dishes that were no longer.available. they .essed up our orders and completely forgot my dish. So we didn't all.eat at the sametime. in the end the kids left with l Their dad while I was still waiting for my Dish. The worst part is they didn't even say sorry or try and...

I am really dissapointed that I am writing this review because I really liked this place but we come to cafeseamos when ever we are back in Calpe, (which is a few times a year) but unfortunately from when I started visiting here a couple of years ago and up to my most recent visit (which was yesterday) the food portions have become smaller and less tasteful, the coffee is at best lukewarm, the staff seem to be less attentive and my biggest moan is that the soft seats and sofas are so worn that you are sitting on the actual wooden support struts. We won't be coming back until there is more care put back into this...
