Cafeteria SOLYMAR — Restaurant in Calp

We visited this afternoon. This wasn't our first visit, as the cafe boasts one of the best panoramic views of Ifach– a major reason we keep returning and one we truly appreciate.

However, today's experience was somewhat disappointing due to one key element: our order of Gambas al Ajillo. This dish is usually a highlight for us, and we often come specifically to enjoy it. Unfortunately, on this occasion, it lacked its usual depth of flavor. The expected pleasant spiciness (picante)was missing, and we couldn't detect the distinct brandy notesthat made it so special before. This was quite a letdown.

We couldn't help but wonder if a change in kitchen staff might be related, as we noticed two female chefsworking today, whereas previously a male chef was usually preparing the food when we dined.

Despite this setback with the gambas, the stunning view remains exceptional. We sincerely hope everything returns to its usual standard soon, as we look forward to once again enjoying both the delicious foodand the beautiful panorama that makes such a...

The view and location are amazing but unfortunately the service particularly from some of the regular waitresses there has been really poor lately.. one in particular barely smiles, seems always annoyed and her latest comment when asked if I can get only one butter portion for my toast since I do not use two and they are quite pricey (0,80 cent each), was that I must take and pay for two because they serve it only that way....my opinion on this place is: amazing views but my rating has changed due to the poor service....another comment here described it well: a general attitude from some of the regular waitresses is as if they were annoyed that you are there...the nicer service people are...

These people need to get their shit together. We waited for 20 minutes and still no one attended our table. Went inside to place the order at the bar, but they said to wait at the table, after 10 more minutes we left. Inside the bar is filled with dirty dishes while the 4 people behind the bar are just chatting with each other. They should be helping the single waiter serving all the tables or at least clean the dishes. The view is nice though and the...
