Absolutely awful experience and far from a 'fine dining' experience as they claim to be. I ordered a simple poke bowl tonight. It was served as most poke bowls are with ingredients around the outside and and rice in the middle. The only point of difference being that the rice was a solid ball. Solid in the sense that it was stone cold and so solid and old and dry I could not put my fork through it. It was completely inedible. I waited patiently for a waiter to return however they never did so I took the bowl back to the waiter and showed him and asked for another dish. He took it back to the kitchen but not before sticking his finger in the food in front of me. Another plate was bought out to me however much to my disgust it was the same plate the waiters fingers had been privy to except a new ball of rice had been placed in the middle - this time however the kitchen had simply taken another 'ball' of rice and dunked it in water in a pathetic attempt to hydrate the however many days old rice. If I was the chef I would be extremely embarrassed for serving such a disgraceful attempt to rectify the situation. We received no apology or attempt to make well and the wait staff were clearly embarrassed to return to iur table. Easy to say we will...
Read moreMy family had food poisoning after eating here.
We visited for breakfast and ordered three full English breakfasts, one sandwich with chips and two “natural” breakfasts consisting of yoghurt and toast.
The full English breakfasts were cold. The bacon and sausages seemed uncooked and we were considering sending it back to the kitchen. Now we wish we had. The burden should not be on the customers to ensure the food is cooked. My mother was sick all night and my brother, who was by evening time on an airplane, had a terrible time with his food poisoning.
The “natural” breakfasts had unnatural prices. We paid €7.50 for some yoghurt, a few slices of banana and one slice of toast. With the jam and butter included I can’t expect this breakfast to cost much more than €1 to compile.
Synopsis: This place is ripping you off. They’re using their location on the beachfront as an opportunity to scam their customers. We have been eating at chiringuito for ten years, before the new ownership, so we have seen the entire journey. Don’t touch it.
Notes: The staff are underpaid and rude. The toilets are dated and disgusting. The food...
Read moreIncredible paella mixta. Calamares en plata 10/10. Nachos 1000/10. Portions are generous for a paella for 3 we took only for 2 people and it was more than enough we all had 2 full plates.
The view is really nice
The mix of mix fried stuff was a bit less good. But they can’t be good at everything I guess.
The staff is really really nice.
It’s our 3rd time there. However the third time was not as good as the other time we ordered the paella mixta as another time, they mixed up our order and tried to make us believe it was our order. They did offer to change it but it would’ve taken 20/30 minutes and were starving. However the staff remained calm, nice, and professional even though I was really annoyed. The other times we went there during the week at lunch and this time we went for diner on a Friday night I think the cook was different than the one at lunch so the recipe were different/tasted different I prefer the one at lunch. They offered us the desserts at the end. It was a nice move from them. We will come...
