We had an incredible time at La Bodega! The food was absolutely amazing—ribs and nachos were perfection, paired with a refreshing pint of beer and a glass of sangria. 5/5 for the food! What truly made our visit unforgettable was the owner (we think!), who checked on us throughout our meal with such warmth and passion. He surprised us with a delicious honey-whiskey liqueur and two scoops of their homemade dark chocolate ice cream—both were divine! When we asked about the wine, he shared that they make it in-house and even let us sample it in small glasses. Worst meal we had in Palma Nova/Magaluf!! Waitress had a severe body odour problem which we couldn't help but notice! Really looked forward to the nachos but they were a massive disappointment and overly priced. Two of our party of 4 ordered chicken fajitas and we had to swap seats when food arrived as the 2 chicken fajitas were served jointly on one skillet and the guys weren't sat opposite or next to each other originally. If you like masses or mostly peppers for your meal order fajitas as that made up 80% of the beef fajitas served. The food was only luke warm despite being served on what should of been a hot skillet. A lovely setting , just off the strip. A very kind welcome when you come in . Menu is set out very well . We all had starters and they were well presented and tasted very good. The onion rings are chopped onion which are ok but prefer whole onion . Garlic bread was out so morish. Nachos amazing. The fajita were ordered by 3 of us and the amount of ok chicken was more than enough if anything could feed 4. Cajun chicken was so tender and full of flavour . And finally the BBQ ribs , on my god the best ribs I’ve ever tasted. So much meat on them and they just literally fell off the bones .
