Bar Casa Llevant — Restaurant in Cambrils

Typical tourist trap restaurant on the coast. The restaurant is like any other on the strip. They have a huge card with a variety of seafood. We went there several times because sometimes it’s the easiest choice 😅 the terrace accepts dogs which is nice. The service was extremely slow, our lunch took forever. We waited 30 minutes for the first appetizer out of 3. The mains came much, much later. The good thing is almost always they have a table. When you go to the bathroom you can see the restaurant inside. I strongly do not recommend going to the bathroom. The inside is filthy and I just hope the kitchen is in a batter condition. The wait staff speaks languages obviously. The views are very nice if you’re willing sacrifice quality of the food. Ingredients are not always fresh and of poor quality especially the meat(!) if you go there go for fish or seafood, seems like they have more experience and selection in that area. Overall, I recommend other places if you book in advance. If no choice, well, I guess it will feed you. I recently dined at this restaurant, and while the main attraction was the atmosphere, particularly the warm service from Kaled, the food left much to be desired. The frog legs, which I was excited to try, were unfortunately dry and overcooked, a far cry from the delicate, flavorful dishes you'd expect in France. While I wasn't impressed by the culinary experience, Kaled's exceptional politeness and attention made us feel like VIP guests, which slightly compensated for the underwhelming food. Overall, I'd return for the service, but not for the meal....

A beautiful experience! The food was very delicious, the service was rated 10+ (bravo). The local manager remained my friend (Kaled). He was exemplary in his behavior towards my children. He always made sure that we had a pleasant experience! He was ready to help us with any personal problem! And with this message I want to thank him once again!
