Absolute shambles this spot is the starters we're good and the food was OK my kids ordered chicken nuggets and chicken korma. We thought it was a bit wierd as we were the only ones eating on a Thursday evening at 8pm. At the end of the dinner the waiter started speaking to us asking us when we were going home and that the fridges were giving them trouble. The bill was 113 euro and in the middle of the night at about 3 am my daughter started puking her ring up and had diarrhea for the rest of the night and the my son in the morning started puking aswell. 100% food poisoning. For 113 euro you expect a half decent meal and to not get food poisoning. Would highly not recommend this dive. The only reason it said on the sign out the back best Indian in the town is because its the only one. Also the 2 men are very unfriendly the 1 women that is there is nice and the chef must be a pure eejit altogether as it wasnt like it was busy and he was under pressure becuase we were the only ones there . DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! A DIVINE KIP!!!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO...
Read moreTime for my favourite food ... Indian. I have driven passed this place on a weekend and all the outside tables were taken so I’ve always wanted to try it out. So for Spain we had an early lunch (1pm) to get a table. As hyped it was very very good. All coming at once we ordered ... Chana Aloo salad, Pahari Tikka, and chicken balti (vindaloo spice level), with basmati rice and plain naan. My only criticism was that the Balti was a little too spicy but that said it’s so difficult to get the consistency of heat-level in Spain as the Spanish do not particularly like the spice. So when I asked for “English level Vindaloo” you never really know what you’re going to get. At least now I have a baseline for my next visit - which I most certainly will. I’ve never heard of Pahari tikka before , but it was amazing; especially accompanied by the sauce that came with it. This place is definitely a “great Indian” and happy I can get...
Read moreOne of the things I have been missing, since moving to Spain 1 year ago, is a good Indian meal. Finding restaurants (especially good ones) can be difficult. I had seen this one along with the mainly positive reviews and decided to give it a try. Even though it was a 45min drive, it was definitely worth it.
The atmosphere here is authentic, just like many Indian restaurants back in the UK, and the guys working here are so friendly and welcoming.
The food we had was very tasty (I had the madras while my wife had a pasanda) and spiced perfectly. The accompanying naan breads were delicious too! Washed down with good ol' Cobra beer!
Honestly, from someone who has had many curries over the years, if you are in the Tarragona area and craving some Indian food, then definitely make the trip here - you...
