Twisted Lime — Restaurant in Cambrils

We went there after trying to book it on numerous occasions over the years but it was always booked out, and we were so excited as it had great reviews. The service was grand, don't get me wrong the two staff we were dealing with were very friendly and nice, but we had to ask for the bill and ice on a few separate occasions, we eventually walked up to the bar to get ice. We ordered two kids meals which were as you would expect good. We ordered the a chicken dish which was beautiful, the nachos which was also lovely, my wife was praising it as being one of the best she ever had.

We also ordered a prawn dish which was terrible. The smell of the prawns was not good. I don't want to comment on whether they were fresh or not. The waiter asked us were they ok as we only ate 1 from the dish and he knew from our response they were not good, but still charged us for it.

We had been to tomahawks steak restaurant beside the twisted lime who are owned by the same people a few days earlier and it was top class, food was beautiful and will certainly be back. Would we come back to the twisted lime, probably, we are hoping it was just a bad night.

Friends of ours were there a few days before us and were also disappointed, which I was supprised about as they had been there before and raved about it.

I have rated it a 4 star which is probably a little generous but 3 star a tad to harsh.

What can I say. Twisted lime is a hidden gem and a must visit when in cambrils. Food menu has something for everyone. Really good selection of traditional Spanish tapas with a twist, which is presented very professional and tastes amazing. Cocktail's are out of this world and definitely, by far, the best in cambrils. Customer service is top notch. After 20 mins of being at the twisted lime, it felt like we knew everyone for years. So friendly and helpful. We got some amazing travel advice and recommendations of places to visit. A massive thanks to Bruce, Mike, Jackie, Nikki and Emma for the great food, amazing cocktail's and even better company. Such a great little place and such nice people working there. We will come back to cambrils again just to catch up with the guys, and for food and cocktail's. I can't recommend the twisted lime enough. 10/10 will come again. Much love from...

We went as many times as we could while in cambrils sadly for us; but great and very deservedly for them, it got harder to get a table as word spread about how good their food and cocktails are. We went 3 times in total and every time the food was out of this world. The service is second to none and no matter who serves you, you'll be met with an energetic smiling face which instantly makes you feel at home. My 1st night I got Korean chicken to start and a burger for main, both were amazing to the point my 3 year old used up all the Korean sauce dipping her chips in it. The burger was amazing and cooked too my preference. The 2nd time I got nachos to start and they were unreal, the salsa and guacamole were so fresh and tasted as if it was just made. Nicest nachos.
