Alzina — Restaurant in Capdepera

Never been treated this badly in a restaurant. Had a lovely evening and good food. When we went to pay we noticed that the prices were higher than what was on the menu. When we spoke to our server about this she told us that the English menu we had was an old one and they have updated their prices (which was only displayed on the Spanish menu). We said that they did not inform us of that, therefore we are only prepared to pay what was on our menu. Our server wasn’t really understanding us so we tried to speak to the other server who spoke to us in English the whole night but apparently he forgot all his English in that moment… He and the other server spoke to each other in Spanish (while she rolled her eyes at us) and then continued to argue with us in Spanish. We were blown away by the rudeness of these servers and how they tried to take advantage of tourists. If you increase your prices either put it on the menu or inform people… pretty...

This place was horrendous.

Arrived and stood at the entrance for a while, waiting for someone to show us to a table. Some staff walked past and didn't even make eye contact.

We found a table and sat down, and after 10-15 minutes, we had to ask for menus.

Ordered two salads and tapas. The salads were good. Tapas appaling. The calamari must have been several days old and inedible. Out of the 7 tapas dishes, the only one we ate was the batatas bravas.

There are no baby changing facilities, so we changed nappies on the floor outside the disgusting toilets.

Asked for the bill and after waiting 20 minutes went to the bar to ask to settle. Ended up paying €65 for three soft drinks, two (decent) salads, and tapas of which we ate one.

It's incredible that this place is allowed to trade.

We walked past this place and the cocktail board outside looked amazing as well as some customers told us to give it a go, so we did. Whilst the drinks were fairly priced, the food and the service wasn’t great. The staff were quite passive aggressive, made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome by constantly staring and rushing us while we were still eating and drinking yet left all the other tables alone. We hadn’t been there long either and the place only had a few full tables so it wasn’t busy and we weren’t being a hassle. We ordered mozzarella sticks and they only gave us two small ones for €3.
