Bodega La Andaluza Cala-Ratjada (Restaurante Bar Tapas Mallorca) — Restaurant in Capdepera

We decided to try this out because we wanted to experience tapas that was made by a more local store.

First off, the staff is alright, they seemed a little stressed though, since it looked like they were understaffed for this particular evening. There was only one server/barkeep (he spoke English well enough) going between tables and he was trying his best, thank you for that!

There's not a lot of Ambiente, the location is pretty much along the main street so there's a lot of passerbys.

The food was good and the prices alright. Our sardines were visibly made in a hurry though and not fried properly. We tried out several dishes, included in the pictures below and ordered about enough to leave well fed. Only thing that was a bit weird was that there was no menu for drinks, but it was really our mistake of not asking for it.

I generally recommend asking for the prices firsthand (especially if you're unsure) to avoid misunderstandings.

All in all, it was alright. Not the best tapas we've had but not the worst either. The staff are friendly and locals seem to visit this restaurant on...

Very cozy family restaurant. While I was there (5pm) a few locals came in for a drink and were freely smoking on the patio.

I ordered the “date with bacon” because it sounded interesting and someone in the reviews said they had tried it. I was a very interested combination but if I go back I wouldn’t order it again but it was nice to try.

The lady there was very kind. She doesn’t speak English but very patiently listened to my broken Spanish.

Leider waren wir vom Bodega unglaublich enttäuscht. Wir hatten uns, aufgrund der Google Rezensionen, sehr viel besseres erwartet. Die Begrüßung und das Aufnehmen der Bestellung war schon ziemlich mürrisch. Aber solche Tage hat jeder mal. Doch leider war die Bedienung bei der Bestellung immer wieder abgelenkt und sprach bzw schaute zu anderen Personen/Tische. Es waren aber nur 3 andere Tische belegt. So zeigte ich auf der Karte, was wir gerne wollten. Die Auswahl der Tapas ist gut und variantenreich, was schonmal ein echter Pluspunkt (Stern) ist. Leider ist das Essen aber geschmacklich ziemlich fad. Kaum gewürzt oder einfach lasch. Dazu haben wir dann noch Tapas bekommen die wir nicht bestellt haben und mussten uns 3 Minuten vorwerfen lassen das wir dies aber bestellt hätten. Erst der Zettel mit unserer Bestellung zeigte dann, dass es sein Fehler war. Erstaunlich war dann, daß genau am nebentisch das gleiche mit 2 Tapas passierte. Falsche Lieferung weil nicht aufgepasst. Zum Schluß hatten wir dann auch noch die nicht bestellten Tapas auf der Rechnung. Haben nicht diskutiert, sondern es als Lehrgeld und Trinkgeld gesehen....
