Royal — Restaurant in Capdepera

Visited this restaurant asked for a menu the Ignorant waiter pointed at a QR code, i didn't understand what this was. He did not explain that it was the menu. So we left and spent money at a more deserving restaurant.

I have just read the reply to my review of this restaurant. I am astounded by the arrogance to suggest that I don't know what a QR code is in 2021. I am 68 years old. I have had to learn lots of new technology in my lifetime. What my generation have and what is sadly lacking in this restaurant, is good old fashioned manners. A simple "you download the menu from the QR code sir" instead of pointing to QR code would have saved any embarrassment and the poor review. This is the first holiday that I have taken in 19 months. I have navigated QR codes online forms and documents to go on holiday and when I get there I get a arrogant waiter that cant be bothered to explain the ordering process. Loved it. Very good meat.. Germans do it better. Quality above quantity. Very nice to have something thats been prepared with love. Also because the "real" spanish kitchen is hard to find between all the kebab and tourist food overhere. I would recommend making a reservation, although we we're lucky and they could fit us in. Also because we have two little kids and in an hour we would be finished anyway as we only take the main course. Very nice host, and professional waitress. Nice view. What I liked most is the volume and choice of background music. Not screaming in your face like most places overhere. You can have a normal conversation without being irritated about radio...

We spent a few hours here on a Saturday (market day). I am not able to eat gluten, so I asked for something gluten-free.

They didn’t have a dedicated menu or gluten-free bread alternatives, but we figured something out and the waitress made sure to double check with the kitchen, that it would be gluten-free!

Food was delicious and the waitress was extremely friendly and very helpful! I do want to highlight this specifically, because her colleague wasn’t. He was not very friendly or helpful. Further, for a Café, I must say the coffee wasn’t great!

My company’s food was reportedly good, too.
