I usually don't dine at restaurants on the main boulevards and this one reminded me why. It is very popular and very busy, but I wasn't impressed at all. The Navajos were full of sand, so very gritty, the grilled vegetables were salty and cooked to death, and then we were conned by the waiter with our fish dish. We asked for a particular fish dish to share, but the waiter told us that they didn't have that fish but he could do it with another fish. We understood that it was simply a matter of replacing one with another. What we got was a full fish with a large serving of fries. We didn't click that they had given us 3 servings. So we got a shock when the bill was at least double what we expected. The fish was charged at 40€ a kilo....

Rude and unhelpful waiter told us we could not share a plate between two persons. Did not have anything available that was listed on the menu except the most expensive choice. Talked very fast and refused to repeat anything. Smacked a disgusting looking deepfried appetizer on the table. When we saw the price of €50 per plate for a simple fried fish with potatoes of which we were obliged to buy two although we weren’t that hungry, we decided to try our luck at another restaurant. The waiter then commenced to shout abuse at our backs while we walked away on the boulevard. BTW we are fluent spanish speakers and have lived in Spain for years. This is the worst restaurant we have ever been in...

The second time we have visited here. We were seated very quickly, ordered drinks. We wasn’t very hungry, but when the drinks were delivered the waiter spoke to us - we don’t speak a lot of Spanish, so wasn’t really aware of what we had agreed to - but food started appearing. We ended with a warm seafood platter which was amazingly delicious. We had half a lobster each, and good portions of prawns, clams, and swordfish, accompanied by salad and chips and of course bread. The price for the platter was €140 - €35 per head. The bill came to €190 with complimentary fried veg, 8 drinks (beers and soft drinks) and complimentary shots of crema and...
