We have been here several time before but it was our first visit the weekend after the lockdown has been lifted. Due to its strategic location in the middle of a busy square, the place was overly crowded during our visit (slightly after dinner time) on the Museum Night weekend. Waiters seem abit distracted and service was slow for the night however when we ask for the bill; they were polite and respectfully apologetic for their slow service due to overwhelming crowd. Food was mediocre but it was the little gesture of taking courtesy to genuinely apologize that made us forgive the human mistakes and wouldn't mind revisiting in the future (when it is less crowded). We ordered the traditional Spanish breakfast (toastada con tomate) , unfortunately the waiter (short blond hair) forgot one of us and we gently reminded him that one was missing. The piazza it's located in is fabulous; pedestrian only around most of it, with some fabulous trees dotted around, and some incredibly beautiful buildings all around it.
Prominently located in this square, 470 La Glorieta serves really good coffees alongside the usual beers, wines and spirits. The food is okay, and certainly when the ambience of the place is taken into consideration, it is well worth a visit...
