Bodega La Fuente — Restaurant in Cartagena

Awful. Never have I been so disrespected in my life here in. Spain. Not only did the waitress never tried to attend me or take my order, but she took the orders from everyone else in the room while always dismissing all my calls with a bad tempered "Later". I waited 30 minutes to try to get some attention, then I left without eating nor drinking anything. I would say it's all her fault, but the owners of the place are at fault too. There was only one or two people to attend a never ending horde of people coming in. There were at least 20 tables with 2 to 5 people each, for only one or two waiters....

The most original tapas bar you will find in the city. It’s like an old bar from the 20’s that simulates a narrow street. Everything looks beautiful inside. They have somehow cleaning anchovies from the Cantabria see (north of Spain, that are supposed to be the best) the whole time. The food is just amazing. All the classics are in the menu. And the prices are the best. A small beer and a tapa of your choice is just 2,90€, and from there up depending on the taps you choose. 100% recommended for a genuine Spanish...

Dining here is a steal with canas y tapas starting at EUR1.90, with selected items more expensive. Two of us decided to go for 5x combos. We asked for tapas recommendations from the staff and the food did not disappoint. My favourite was the sardine puff (middle of picture) that tasted homely for my Singaporean taste buds. Great experience overall, though we were initially put off by a waitress who was less patient and claimed not to understand...
