Unfortunately, not a great restaurant experience for us.

We were seated in an air conditioned back lounge with a very cold air blowing. If you go to this restaurant, make sure you bring a warm sweater, regardless of the temperature outside. We were feeling rather cold for the entire time.

After giving us our drinks (one of us getting the wrong drink) and handing us the menus, it took a full 30 minutes for the waiter to take our food order. And the place was not busy; only a few tables had guests, most tables were empty.

The food arrived (thankfully correct), it was adequate, but nothing special. I had a pizza and I found base tomato sauce rather bland.

We ordered desserts and coffees. The desserts arrived, but no coffee. After having eaten half of our desserts, we kindly reminded the waiter that we were still waiting for the coffee. It took another 10-15 minutes after that before the coffee arrived. By that time, we had long since finished our desserts. Not a catastrophe, but we kind of wanted desserts with coffee, and ordered them together. We finally got our coffee much later, and it was almost cold, so clearly it had been left standing for a long time before it was brought to our table.

We asked for the bill, and again we waited probably 15 minutes for the bill to be brought.

All in all, a rather disappointing restaurant...

I wrote a long review, but google didn’t upload it after I had to change photo permissions, so I’m not going to go thru that again. Long story short, the waiter working outside (grey haired man) was unnecessarily obnoxious, embarrassing my girlfriend and I for asking a simple question. Don’t dare raise your voice at a customer for politely asking, “May we ask a question “ I’ve had a long day, but go ahead” Seriously, is this your best? He was so loud that the table next to us asked, is everything okay? All eyes were in us. And no, it wasn’t a joke, we thought it was at first, but he continued to disappoint us with this arrogant loud behavior. I hope the a$$ slips in the kitchen tonight and breaks his hip. Totally uncalled for!

We have eaten out 2x per day all over Spain for the past month, this was by far our worst experience yet, and...

We were visiting Mar Minor and checked this place online. As we were exhausted from the drive, we decided to have a takeaway. The Calzone and Carbonara pizzas were fantastic, with proper thin bases and lots of topping/filling.

Second time I tried their prawn pasta which was perfect, and the desert was also fab. Just be careful as portions are large, so you may not be able to handle 3 courses (we shared a starter and that is more than enough).

We enjoyed it so much that we went again but this time ate there. As we have a dog, we had to tale a table at the terrace, which was fine.

The service was first class, with friendly and efficient staff.

Food was just as great the second time and we highly recommend it for either eating in...

Really the worst food I have eaten in a restaurant in years! The carbonara was made with pancetta but that was about it. The food (we ordered for 6) came about 5 to 10 minutes after we ordered, not a good sign of you expect fresh pasta, pizza and a salad. About the salad, it was really soaked in an ready to go sweet vinaigrette (see picture). Having said this the presentation and decoration was nice, but again, that was about it. Also, we were seated on the terrace and we where surrounded and annoyed by flies all dinner long. After having asked for the check they didn’t even bother to ask us how the food was.
