During our frequent stays in Spain, we have visited many non-Spanish restaurants (as well as mainly Spanish ones of course) - Italian, Indian, Thai, Chinese. This is the first French restaurant. First, the owners are super friendly and absolutely lovely. We enjoyed chatting with them throughout our meal and they were very attentive. The food was outstanding and is one of the best places in the area by some margin. We shared two starters, the Brie and the Quiche Lorraine. I wanted to try the latter because my experience of quiche goes back to the 80s and put my off almost for life. But when in France.... So we had both and both were fantastic. Due to previous experiences I will have quiche again in future but only in a French restaurant. For mains, one od us had the confit duck and the other the scallops. Both were cooked to perfection and the sauces, as you would expect with a French restaurant, were divine. Of course, we had to finish with crepe suzette which did not disappoint. Do not be put off with what seems like a limited menu. There is enough variation for everyone to find eomthing they like and if our experience is anything to go by, I am sure all of it will be some of the best examples you've tasted.

Fantastic meal at this superb restaurant! We shared a pate de campaña as it was so filling but delicious and home made - a meal in itself and lovely bread for toast! We each had duck, magret and confit and it was cooked to perfection and a superb taste. The home baked cheesecake was fantastic so light and delicious. Crepes suzette were delicious. A lovely bottle of local (Yecla) wine (De Nariz) complemented the food wonderfully. Francis was a wonderful host and Yannick cooked like a dream. A perfect evening! Thank you, Francis and Yannick for the beautiful meal!

A first visit to a new restaurant for us, but it won't be our last. A great welcome by the staff to a clean, uncluttered restaurant with air conditioning which is welcome at this time of year. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and happy to explain dishes and answer any questions. The food is well presented and most appetising and not overly priced. There are excellent "off the menu" specials too, the house cheesecake was really good. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and urge people to try this wonderful gem in Los Belones.

Los Osos Golosos is the nonesuch, the paragon of quality cuisine and splendid customer service! Yes, this is the place against which all others should be judged.

The two owners were extremely attentive and friendly, and provided great suggestions and answers to all our questions about what food to order. To top it all, Yannick brought some exquisite Armagnac at the end to round the already exquisite, exceptional experience! We cannot thank both of them enough for their kindness and great conversation!

My friends and I have enshrined this place as probably the single best eatery we have ever tried, and we don't say this lightly. All the accolades that this place gets are well-deserved! It's no coincidence that Los Osos Golosos attracts some seriously heavy patronage!

We will surely come here as...

We had a wonderful experience at Los Osos Golosos on our recent trip to La Manga. The food was so delicious and reasonably priced that we had both lunch and dinner on consecutive days. It's a must for anyone visiting La Manga...

There is so much to recommend on the menu that I don't know where to begin. The starters were delicious, the Duck is amazing along with the homemade Quiche. The selection of savory and sweet crepes are fab.

The hosts were really friendly and made us feel so welcome. We look forward to returning again on our next trip to La...
