PLEASE READ TILL THE END!! Amazing service and food too. We were staying at the La Manga golf resort and needed an Indian fix. Looked on TripAdvisor and Paras looked the best. It was only a 5 min drive to Los Belones from our villa. The service was amazing from the manager and I believe his wife. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and the portion sizes big. Their prices were very good also. Great work Paras and see you again when back in town 👊
THE RETURN TRIP! Well we came back the following year and man had things changed. The poppadoms were bendy, the starters were poor and nothing like the year before. I honestly didn't want to eat mine as I thought the chicken wasn't cooked through and didn't want food poisoning. Others had chicken My main was way over the heat of a Vinderloo, but had asked for medium heat. Others had gravy that was so thin it was like water. A korma should be rich and creamy. Only 1 person was happy out of our group of 6. We will not return and advice you avoid like a dose...
Read moreLiving in Los Belones so I eventually went to eat at Paras. Had already had a meal at the Curry Gardens (belongs to the same family) in the La Manga Club which was ok so decided to give it a try here as well.
The papadoms were unfortunately not freshly made because they were already a little bit soggy, a shame because it's super easy to make them fresh.
The rest of the dishes were really good, Vindaloo chicken was well spiced and not mouth killing, good egg fried rice and we also had a naan which was tasty.
The service was nice and friendly so overall a good experience but with the freshly made papadom it would have been even better. We'll just try...
