I would like to give a special thanks to Cathal and his team at ‘Amore’ that recently hosted our surprise family birthday party. They were very accommodating with our guests early arrival, along with assisting them with the decoration preparations. The food for this large gathering of more than 20 people arrived ‘bang on time’, and to a very high quality, and of course Cathal and staff made sure that the food arrived to our satisfaction and our glasses never went empty.

It was a great afternoon aided by Cathal & team and would highly recommend ‘Amore’ for a venue to eat or drink, be it small or a large gathering of people.

We visited Amore Beach Bar & Restaurant for the first-time last night. I am now wondering why, over all the years I have been visiting La Barrosa I have never been to this establishment before. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say. The service we received by the waitress was without question the best I have ever experience in Spain, and we have been visiting for many years. So attentive, so professional and so polite. The food was amazing, and my regret was that after two courses, did not have any room for desserts! Went to dine with my family. The staff is super-friendly and amiable and the food was great! The pizza dough was fresh and they were kind enough to present it in the shape of a fish for my nephew. They were really accomodating and prepared a simple omlette for the kid. The Irish chips (patatas irlandesas) and the bruschetta were really yummy! The garlic bread with cheese (pan de ajo con queso) was also great, albeit being an italianised version. Their delicious summer wine (tinto de verano) comes in a big vase!
