Restaurante Zurga — Restaurant in Chiclana de la Frontera

We ate here for dinner. The food was alright, nothing to make a special trip for. The views on the ocean and beach were pretty. Unfortunately the customer service was non existent. It seems as is we were an inconvenience to the staff. If they wanted to go home, why didn't they tell us they were closed. We were dining well within their posted operating hours. I even heard them tell another customer that they were closing after we finished eating. He ended up only getting drinks because it seemed as if they weren't going to let him sit for dinner. Rubbish service. Sat down at a table after being ignored for 7 or 8 mins waiting to be seated. Should have taken this as an early warning. Restaurant was half empty, so not like the waiters were overly busy.

Was ignored for a further 10 mins. Tried to get the attention of a waiter as he passed the table. He looked me straight in the eye, and just walked past as if we didn’t exist.

Got tired of waiting. We got up and left. I think they’re too complacent because of the amount of business they get from tourists...

El lugar estaba prácticamente vacío a las 21: 40, pedimos sentarnos 8 en la terraza, de mala gana nos arreglan las mesas, pero nos dejan allí tirados, nadie nos atiende, solo me trajeron un gin tonic que pedí al solicitar las mesas, pero nada más, nos traen la carta también de mala gana, pero no vuelven a preguntar qué tomamos, total, que pagamos la bebida y nos largamos. Atención no solo pésima sino nula.

Comentando la respuesta del local a nuestra reseña/queja:

Nosotros, que somos una familia con dos bebes (2 y 4 años) estamos gratamente sorprendidos de la buena atención que nos han ofrecido en cada uno de los establecimientos de comida que hemos visitado en Chiclana. Acostumbrados al trato jovial y profesional recibido en todas partes, consideramos que, habiendo solo 3 mesas que atender, no fuimos atendidos correctamente y el trato totalmente inadecuado, por lo que al haber sido totalmente ignorados, decidimos largarnos. Menos mal tomamos la decision de buscar otra opcion!

Como veran, en las reseñas del local, hay muchas que opinan similar a nosotros en cuestion de atención.

Consideramos que con tu respuesta solo te perjudicas a ti y a tu restaurante ya que nosotros cenamos demasiado rico y fuimos atendidos como reyes en el otro restaurante.
