Unfortunately, our dinner at Bar Es Fabiol in Ciudadella was a letdown from start to finish. The staff came off as brusque and uninterested, which already set a cold tone for the evening. The food? Over-salted and oddly tasteless — a contradiction that left us both puzzled and unsatisfied. And then there's the pizza... a paper-thin crust, limp and lifeless, barely resembling the proud tradition of Italian cuisine. It felt like an insult to what pizza is meant to be. Not an experience we’d care to repeat.

For the price it was excellent. I found the service friendly and prompt, the food delicious and price good. 13.50 menu del dia on a Sunday seems very good to me. I had vegetable lasagne starter. Seemed to have just come out of oven. Enormous and tasty serve. Baked cod and potatoes main also very nice. Three courses, two wines and a coffee for 20 Euros with great service and nice spot in spring sunshine. Perfect for me

Básicamente la puntuación es por las siguientes razones. 1. El camarero no se ha enterado de que ha habido una pandemia y lleva la mascarilla por los suelos. Entiendo que tenga calor, sin embargo, su compañera amable y rápida la lleva bien puesta. En resumen, si te atiende la chica mucho mejor. 2. En cuanto a la comida, el arroz caldoso tenía un exceso de mantequilla o aceite quitando eso, estaba bueno. 3. La carne la he pedido poco hecha y estaba bien con la patata cocida de guarnición. 4. El bacalao estaba bueno y la guarnición también. Sin embargo, salsa verde a mejorar en mi opinión. 5. El tiramisu no era tiramisu, no estaba mojado en café. Era borracho de agua con azúcar o algo similar. Medidas anticovid a mejorar.

Quite frankly, abysmal! Cheap but not cheerful. Party of 6 including 2 children. The kids spaghetti Bolognese was the same size as the adults, moussaka was the smallest portion of something I've ever seen, (smaller than the children's meal) and the Cannelloni was made using some sort of white/greyish meat. Not only that, the moussakas and Cannelloni came out cold, and even after being sent back they returned barely warm. I don't mind cheap food having cheap ingredients BUT I AT LEAST EXPECT THE THING TO BE HOT! Honestly, how hard is it too microwave something them stick it under the grill for a minute to crisp up? The only thing that was edible was the chips and a toasted cheese sandwich. The waiter, who wasn't the happiest chap, didn't seem surprised or even bothered that we complained. Or that we wouldn't pay for most of the "food". Terrible, just terrible, keep on walking is my advice. Never in my life have I had such awful food, I didn't know it was even possible to be that...

Fantastic coffee! The ice cream is amazing too. We had a nice pre-lunch coffee out on the park area where the breeze was cool and the shade was so needed. The service is a little slow for getting the bill but from ordering to getting your drinks was very quick. There's a fiesta happening today and Ciutadella is busy but not too packed. Plenty of space to get around at midday and lots of spaces to stay for food. We had wanted to grab some breakfast style items but a lot of the menu items are for lunch main meal type offerings. Overall a great place for a coffee and cold drink to enjoy the shade and pleasant atmosphere of the town.

Everything was fine except for food. The waiter was very nice, we were able to make small adjustments to our order with no extra price. We ordered two salads, mine came with so much sauce it was impossible to finish it because it killed the taste of all the other ingredients. The other salad (vegetarian) came with no sauce at all and again, it was very hard to eat it without any moisture. It had no taste. Maybe other positions on the menu could be better but our order was not it, I discourage you from ordering any type of salad...
