Hotel Maïa — Hotel in Ciutadella

Gorgeous, simple but beautiful Menorca run hotel. New to the hotel market, the building has been restored in a simple colour pallet with pops of artistic modern colour. The situation is perfect, being just a minute from the Placa de la Catedral. However, the hotel is just tucked in to a narrow street for a wonderfully quiet siesta time. Isa, the hotel manager, is multi-lingual as well as friendly and down to earth: she goes beyond the call of duty to help people. Please remember she needs to rest! 10/10 – Very clean hotel with nice interior design. We spent 5 nights there. The hotel is comfortable and quiet. We had a room with a large bed and a nice view from the window. Very good and safe location. I liked the design of the room, as well as the whole hotel and common areas. They also have very good quality cosmetics and a hairdryer in the bathroom, which is not common. Very good breakfasts, especially the sandwich with omelette and chocolate cake with nuts. On my first day, I asked about vegetarian breakfast options, and one staff member made sure to keep that in mind for the rest of the week. The breakfast changed a bit each day, which was a nice touch.

We did notice some ink stains on towels and bedsheets, but it didn't bother us much since the room was cleaned daily. The room AC was a total lifesaver in the summer heat.
