At first, everything was normal. When we paid by credit card, the waitress saw that we chose US dollars for payment, she immediately put on a very angry face and said, "You are in Spain, you must use euros, or the bank will deduct my money!" We were all shocked by hearing that! I tried to explain that the bank would not deduct more money from her side just becoz we chose dollars . However, the young didn’t want to listen to my explanation. She kept emphasizing with a very arrogant attitude, implying that you tourists should know that you are in Spain! You are in Spain Must pay in euros! Then she ran back aggressively to confirm with her boss. One minute later she came back to tell us she was sorry for her mistake.…. Came here for lunch as this was the only place open on a Wednesday at 2pm after looking at 5 others with high ratings on google… It was surprisingly busy with Spanish and locals which is normally a good sign. The place is very clean and well looked after and the menu full of local food as tapas and main meals. It seems like a family run place with the daughter running everything front of house. We chose squid, mixed salad and then Cod with tomato plus a bottle of local wine. Both the quality and quantity was excellent and the bill only came to 45€ so Greta value for money. You need to know your Spanish as no English is spoken....

Had an unfortunate experience here, where the waitress was uncomfortable that we were sat at a table of four when our additional 2 guests hadn't arrived yet. I think something was lost in communication, as she seemed very upset with us and wouldn't let us start ordering for our table until we moved to a table of 2. We eventually moved to a table of 2, and when our extra 2 guests arrived, we squeezed them on to our table. I understand the need for all tables to be full, but the way we were spoken to felt rude and unwelcoming. We thought the food was OK but not great. Overall, the experience with the waitress soured...
