Just a short and pleasant walk from the city center, this spot is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The atmosphere here instantly makes you feel at home. Overpriced gambas: Apart from a couple other things (clams and fried potatoes) I ordered gambas as already guests pictured online on google and I asked for 1/2 racion and paid 12 €, which seemed a lot for those small Gambas. As I asked the waiter if he charged full instead of half racion by accident he said no & its a special dish not being displayed on the menue. Before I asked him to show me on the menue. In my opinion these „special gambas“ (as the waiter called it) were Overpriced or tourist price, which is impossible to proof/verify by guest as it’s not a dish written on the menue. So pay attention… Be also aware a couple cat from the street are eating with you and trying to get food from guests as well, which is not contributing to a nice atmosphere. Had lunch (2pm through 5pm) with friends. Staff were very friendly, very helpful (Fernando was the owner) despite being very busy. 6 or 7 outside tables on a quiet street. People were waiting to take tables as they were vacated. All the other customers were Spanish. All very good signs. We took the last free table at 2pm, and enjoyed an unhurried meal. We ordered food in two stages and then had coffee, drinking Fino sherry as aperitif and then throughout the meal.
