We have eaten here many times over the years and have enjoyed the food. Today we enjoyed the food. It would have been 5 stars until we asked to take our uneaten food with us. We were six people. We ordered three appetizers, a salad, three liters of water, five entrees, and a bottle of wine. All good. We ate so much that we could not eat the pork ribs and potatoes and asked to box up the rest. They refused to let us take it home. Very unusual. We asked another waiter. He told us no because it the Menu Del Dia, menu of the day. We said we paid for it we should be able to take it with us. Again they refused. We asked why. He said that they reserve it! And that make appetizers from the leftovers. After we served from that platter to our plates. After our forks we in the food. After we touched the platter. During covid. That was a disgusting answer because it was gross to think of how much we ate came from other customers. Since he said that is what they do- we believe them. I'm sure it is against food laws. It is immoral. It is poor hygiene. It is a cheap business practice and it is not a cheap place. Buyer beware. You may be eating that last few bites of my dinner!!! Ewww! We have never. Ever been denied a doggie bag or take home box- from anywhere. This place did. And the reason is just beyond understanding- "we reserve it." I would have posted the other plates which before we gagged on the thought that our food was recycled, were beautiful typical dishes of the region. All for nothing to think what goes on in...

Pedimos una ensalada con gambas y nos traen la ensalada sin ellas sin decirnos nada, le preguntamos por ellas y al cabo de un rato viene la camarera diciendo que no les quedaban. Le dijimos que sin gambas no la queríamos por lo que pediríamos otra ensalada con queso de cabra. Al cabo de un rato nos viene la camarera con la primera ensalada sin gambas y nos dice que nos nos hacen la otra ensalada. En ese momento me levanto para hablar con la jefa y me dice que eso no es lo que le ha dicho a la camarera sino que se le ha acabado el queso de cabra. Éramos para comer cuatro adultos y cuatro niños y pedimos para los pequeños unas milanesas con patatas , quiero aclarar esto porque desde que realizamos el pedido, esperamos media hora hasta que nos trajeron la ensalada, que era para uno de los adultos, luego tras 15 minutos llego los platos de otros dos adultos, en ese momento me levanté para reclamar la comida de los niños que tenían hambre y me contesta la jefa que estaban saliendo las primeras comandas, seguimos esperando y los 20 minutos llega mi plato ( los otros adultos ya habían acabado de comer) y del cual tengo que repartir las patatas con los niños porque todavía no había llegado su comida. Nos sentamos a comer a la 1:30 y eran casi las 3 de la tarde y se estaban sirviendo mesas con gente que llegarán después de nosotros. Me levanto de nuevo a la barra y le pregunto por las milanesas y me dicen que ya se están haciendo pero acto seguido veo que la camarera se dirige a la cocinera y le pregunta por las mismas y la cocinera con cara de sorprendida le contesta que no tiene constancia de esa comanda. Pero aquí no acaba la cosa, en ese momento le digo a la jefa que me haga la cuenta que estoy muy descontenta con su servicio, me pasa la cuenta y veo que me cobra el pan que no nos han servido, rectifica el ticket y veo también que me cobra por el solomillo mas de lo que indicaba la carta. Ella me dice que el precio es eso a lo que le digo que me traiga la carta y efectivamente me estaba cobrando un precio superior al indicado. Me dice que es un error!!!! Perdona??? Un error??? Si perdí la cuenta de los errores empezando por la ensalada y acabando por el solomillo. Ni una disculpa, ni un detalle a la hora de cobrar ha tenido la decencia de tener tras...

They have excellent fish and seafood. It's a nondescript place with a nice view of the harbor in the fishing village where I live, and you shouldn't expect highbrow service or ambiance, just really well-prepared fresh fish (catch of the day) and dishes like spaghetti with clams. The Atlantic fresh fish and shellfish is really the star of the culinary show here, and Mediterranean fish or shellfish can't hold a candle to it.
