I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. The chef is outstanding in his preparation‘s and he is a joy to visit with. It is right on the water so a pleasant atmosphere. had the Pollo KFC because I love fried chicken, and it was the best I’ve had in a very long time. He brought us an extra treat of a unique gazpacho like soup that he had made using sweet red peppers and garlic and tomatoes and bread which he whipped up, froze and then turned into a gazpacho like soup. Outstanding! I also had the salad with apples cheese and walnuts which was extremely delicious. His choice of wine was excellent. He was so friendly and a joy to visit with that we became good friends and ran into him the next day in Finisterra when he saw us and snuck up behind us, and said it’s the Hawaiians! They are crazy 😂....
Read moreI couldn't recommend this restaurant strongly enough! On the way from Santiago to Finisterre, my friend and I stopped at this restaurant for a delicious lunch with an incredible view in Corcubión. The chef, Miguel, and his wife were so friendly and welcoming, sharing stories and recommendations with us. And the photos speak for themselves -- the red river fish was delicate and moist, the croquettes were crispy and savory, and the arroz con leche was the very best we tried in all of Spain (and my friend had tried this dish anywhere it was available along the Camino!). Come for the food, but stay for the superb service: When I was torn between two dishes because I wanted mashed potatoes, Miguel subbed it for me, no problem. When I mentioned that I'm from Miami, the owners showed me the restaurant's painting from a Miami artist and took great pride in making some spectacular mojitos. And before we left, the owners were so kind and offered us farewell shots (which helped with the remaining miles for the day!). This was really a dining highlight of my Camino, and I look forward to visiting the restaurant again this summer.
Read moreWhat an a absolute gem of a place. We only stopped here for drinks on the way as we're walking back from Corcubion to Cee. Stayed so much longer than intended because they kept bringing snacks. After the chef brought us some amazing couscous and spent time talking to us, it transpires he's been over all the world cooking in some top establishments. From the samples he brought us he's a top quality chef. All the staff are extremely friendly and spend time to actually talk to their customers. If you're passing this way this place is a place you really have to take the time out to stop off at.
Thank you very much. We thoroughly enjoy our afternoon with you and it is certainly one of our outstanding...
