Restaurante Rincón las Brisas — Restaurant in Cuevas del Almanzora

First time there as we just happened to be in the area looking for something to eat as it was lunchtime... The terrace area only had four people there. A lady server eventually took a drinks order and we asked for a menu... The drinks took ten minutes to arrive (just two drinks) the lady server was again asked to provide a menu which failed to materialise. We then moved seats outside into the sun which failed to spark a memory in the server. By now realising we had been forgotten another couple who had been served and to be fair their meals looked good offered to speak to the manager who was on the premises somewhere. They being local apparently knew her. I kindly refused the offer as our drinks were nearly finished my wife paid the server who had ignored us twice and left and went and spent €40 euros at the Peruvian restaurant in Vilaricos just up the road which was a completely different experience with really attentive staff and welcoming ambience... I was looking for reasons not to mark down this place and it's location is great right on the beach. And we may well return when our family arrives for a visit shortly and things may be...

Dig the vibe of the place. I stopped by to get some Coke and chill for a minute after walking for like an hour. I was not disappointed. During the day, there were plenty of seats. As such, the service was also relatively fast. Although, this might've been different if I ordered some of the food. The price was maybe a little higher than I would've liked, but it is a beach bar with a fabulous location right by the beach. The free WiFi also pleasantly surprised me. Can't say I expected it in a bar like this. You do get ice cubes with your soda,...

Déjà, tu arrives sans avoir réservé, c'est plein, mais on te trouve quand même une place; et avec le sourire...ça commence plutôt bien. Le personnel est speedé, mais très convivial. Une serveuse te gratifie même d'un pas de danse quand la musique lui plait. Le cadre? Un Chiringuito comme on les aime, une cabane sur la plage. Un grand écran retransmet un grand prix de F1 en direct, j'adore ça. La nourriture est excellente et copieuse, attention de ne pas commander trop, ce qui fut notre cas. Mais nous avons tout terminé, trop honteux de laisser d'aussi bonnes choses partir à la poubelle... Je recommande particulièrement le calamar 🦑 à la plancha, fondant en bouche et délicieusement accompagné d'une sauce ail et persil. Les sardines grillées et les chipironnes méritent également de prendre place sur votre table, mais surtout dans votre bouche😋. De petits oiseaux viennent picorer les restes des tables vides vous permettant de vous passer des désagréables mouches qui peuplent la région... Bref un excellent moment qui peut se terminer sur la plage assez peu fréquentée juste derrière. Mais laissez vous le temps de digérer avant de piquer un tête... Et si vous y passez entre le 10 et le 15 août, et que les festivals de musique électronique ne vous effrayent pas, allez donc pour moi au Dreambeach festival juste à côté... mes vacances se...
