Casa Perú Beach is among our number 1 places to go. Fairly newly opened in the building that once, was restaurant Goah. We both had the Duck with Rice, (I know, it's not the most inspiring title on the menu), it is however, one of the best meals I have had. We had been told to expect small portions but, we were more than glad that we ignored that and decided not to have a starter. The main was enough on its own and it was fabulous. The staff and manager were most attentive, polite and helpful. The place is spotlessly clean and the terrace looks out to sea, across Villaricos western beach and is a beautiful setting, even though it is right on the roadside. Arrived purely by chance at lunchtime. Attentive staff allowed us to pick our own table. Drinks were served quickly and menus appeared swiftly... The menu had a good variety of both seafood and meats...a welcome change from traditional Spanish fare was the Peruvian twist to the food. I had a beefsteak with salad fries an egg and rice all cooked perfectly in a light sauce. My wife had chicken in a yellow pepper and parmesan sauce with potatoes and rice. A loving flavour in this dish and good value.... The wine was excellent but sadly no room for dessert but coffee on the terrace looking at the sea. Hands down the best ceviche I’ve had in my life—and I’ve had lots of ceviche. The seafood ceviche was so flavorful and it was the perfect level of spicy. The seafood rice was equally mouthwatering, and our dessert of passion fruit cheesecake was out of this world. Warmth in customer service and the flavors in every single dish make this restaurant a good representative of Latin America. This restaurant has not watered down their dishes for the Spanish palette and it’s all the better for it. Truly.
