Bar Aleon — Restaurant in Dénia

After passing through Dénia this morning we came across this parade of shops and bars. After choosing this particular place we found they do breakfast. (Excellent)

Upon our arrival and greeted by a blonde short haired lady, who basically made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We proceeded to sit down to have a look at menu.

Once we had chosen our choice of refreshments and food, the blonde haired lady returned to take our order from my wife. Again with an attitude problem, thus we decided to cancel our order and leave immediately.

Now correct me if I’m wrong and I will stand corrected having worked in hospitality for many years.

Being pleasant and hospitable cost nothing? Especially upon arrival!!

It really doesn’t matter how grand or inviting your bar/ restaurant looks.

Popped in for a coffee today, I was met by the short haired blonde woman the most unwelcoming person i have ever encountered. When I went to pay i complemented her on the coffees she put her head down and walked away without a word, I could not believe someone in the hostelry industry could be so rude. We had just arrived for a one month stay a few minute away but I would rather walk for an hour with a bad knee than go in...

First day of our break, the owner overheard us talking about the fact we couldn't find any squash to buy for our child.

Once we'd finished our lovely breakfast and coffee, the owner gave us a brand new bottle of English squash for our son for the week (free of charge).

Lovely thing to do.

We came back every day for coffees and lunch.
