Once you pass through security at Barcelona Airport and head down the escalator, this is the first restaurant you’ll encounter—and the first one you should probably avoid. Preparing a good Iberian ham sandwich should be easy, especially for a place focused on this specialty, but unfortunately, all you’ll find here is stale bread, low-quality ham, poor service, and bad coffee.

Read moreI was really disappointed with my experience at Santa Maria in Barcelona Airport. Despite the high prices, the quality simply didn’t match up. The bread served was surprisingly low quality—stale and uninspired. To make matters worse, the coffee was cheap and tasted like watered-down sludge, which was a big letdown.
What really stood out, though, was how filthy the place was. There was stuff lying everywhere, and the staff didn’t come around to clear or clean tables at all. It felt completely unacceptable, especially given the prices. Definitely not a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a decent meal or a clean environment.

Before even got a chance waiter was walking around unhappy and angry face, arguing betwee the stuff members, when i let her know my order she answered me in spanish, which I replied i dont speak in spanish, she said: this is spanish airport, what other language you want me to talk t0! Angry face, left, came back woth my pulled porkt burger warm from outside and cold inside and she just drop it on the counter!! Only thing i wanted to have breakfast in airport!
