Great Day Coffee — Restaurant in El Puerto de Santa María

Looking at the photos from the past, it seems like this place used to be at least OK quality, but at some point it went down the drain. Maybe they changed ownership, or the chef, but it is just awful right now. Take a look at the photo of "American Breakfast" and compare to the ones in other photos from a year ago - a huge difference in the quantity and the look (and I'm sure the price was the same 6.99 EUR). And the quality was awful - half of burnt sausage, stale eggs, and an old reheated pancake. It felt like they didn't really make this meal but just microwaved some leftovers.

The ONLY reason I am giving is a two star, is because the waiter was apologetic when I pointed that the food is subpar and did not make me pay for the meal (which I ate only a couple of potato wedges in the end). So at least they have some decency. But honestly, this kind of food should never be served to people, it's appalling honestly. One of the worst I've ever encountered.

As for coffee, the cappuccino was below average, and a cafe con leche was OK. So overall, this place is not even worth for one thing they advertise - coffee.

Ever since I've moved to Spain, I've been coming here and used to love everything they had to offer. Its been a while since I've been here and it isn't the same anymore... it seemed better when the owner was there running things. Also, there was a customer coughing up a storm non-stop and without their mask on, the waitresses should have asked them to put their mask on, to cover their mouth or to leave. In a time like this and spain being hit so bad why would you allow a customer to cough constantly, not cover their mouth see and allow them to just be? I was nervous and anxious the whole time I ate quickly and just left. Also I ordered a drink, got the wrong drink so I waited for a bit, ate my food, waited a bit more then went in to pay and when the girls saw me THEN decided to make my drink making me wait to pay so they could finish making my drink that they just started making only because they saw me leaving.... I didn't leave...

Hoy me he quedado sorprendida con lo que me ha pasado, voy casi todos los martes y jueves con unas amigas o mi marido ya que tenemos a la peque en las extraescolares allí al lado! Siempre pido lo mismo, café vainilla canela S templado, hoy me lo han traído tan caliente que no podía tocar el vaso aún pidiendolo templado por dos veces, le pido al chico que siempre me suele cuadrar en su turno un vaso con 1 hielo, debido a que no podía beberme el café hirviendo, y cuando voy a pagar me cobra 3.50€, le digo perdona! No son 3€ dos cafés? A su respuesta si pero 0.50 cent por el hielo, no salía de mi asombro!!!! No porque cobre un poco de hielo picado, el cual no informa en ningún momento que se iba a cobrar, si no porque le pedí el café templado dos veces y me lo pusieron como quisieron, se lo comenté que le pedí el café templado y lo sirvieron como quisieron a lo que hizo caso a omiso y cuando me di la vuelta se puso a hablar con el compañero, en resumen que habéis perdido varias clientas fijas porque ya no volveremos más. Al propietario a tu respuesta que parte no ha entendido o noe he explicado correctamente? Pido el café siempre templado y ese día lo pedí dos veces templado y lo trajeron hirviendo a lo cual le dije al chico de gafas me puedes traer un hielo he pedido el café templado y no puedo tocar el vaso de lo caliente que está. No sé si es que no me ha entendido bien, solo hay que aplicar el sentido común, si lo pido templado tiene que venir templado, si pido un hielo para solucionar el problema que menos que informar que me cobran, porque si yo soy de otra manera le digo así no he pedido el café y la perdida para el negocio es mayor porque tendría que hacer un café nuevo que sale más caro que un...
