Beautiful location and view. Terrible food and service, We waited at least 20 minutes having arrived at our booked table, but were ignored, not given a menu or asked for drinks. Mum then went to the bar to order drinks herself. Menus were subsequently dumped on our table. Another half an hour later they came to take our food order. Meanwhile another table were complaining. When the food finally arrived my brothers burger was raw and had to be replaced and the paella mum and grandma had was all rice, 4 nice mussels, but beyond that a lot of gristle and bone and bit of dry chicken. We refused to pay the full bill. Disappointed, was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, as one of the few in the bay that we had not been to before - please go to blue...

If the view and location were anything to go by it would have got 5 stars. We have been visiting white sands for many years and seen many changes with this restaurant. (It is not owned by the beach club) The service is always spot on and a warm welcome is always given. But the food lets it down which is a real shame. The sangria was very watered down but the beer and bottled fizzy pop was as usual. We had the nachos to start. Not quite what we would describe as nachos, but it was palatable. The mains were better, consisting of a range of; pasta and pizza. Unfortunately the food (some of the dishes, not all of them) lets the score down a bit. We spent a week at White Sands and had a fair number of meals here due its proximity to the resort.

I would recommend the food but I do feel that the menu and items on the menu need to be a bit more clearly defined. Just one example is the nachos… they are not nachos; they are instead tortilla chips and cheap cheese sauce and some guacamole. Perhaps the definition was lost in translation but this is just one persons observation of one dish.
