Last week, I went to a café with my 4-year-old son for a coffee and an ensaimada. When I saw that the menu on my table was in English, I got up to get one in Catalan. The short-haired, bespectacled waitress snap me in English, in really rude manners, saying she would come to my table to take my order and that I should sit down. I didn’t reply since I’m on vacation, so I went back to my seat. Twenty minutes later, I approached the counter again (I insist, I only wanted a coffee and an ensaimada), and the same waitress said to the other waitress in Catalan, right in front of me, “She’s just here to bother us,” even though I hadn’t said a single word yet. Her problem was that I’m Catalan and understood her comment. So I do NOT recommend this place. They treat people like cattle and were incapable of apologizing to me. Obviously she was proud of her comment and kept sending me back to my table. Again, my approach was completely pacific and 10min later I left, she never came to my table.

The deserts are home made and were simply divine, we had tiramisu and strawberry cheesecake, honestly if I’d had room I would have eaten another!
All in all we had a fantastic experience here with quality food at a very reasonable price, the meal with two glasses of wine, a coke and a water came in at...
Read moreWe stayed at a villa nearby and ate here most evenings, as it was such good value and lovely home cooked food. Beautiful views over the bay and the warmest service from the waiters/ owner. The same waiters each evening and they made us feel very welcome, always a smile and time for a chat even though busy. Two teenage children who rated the pizzas, husbands favourite was the chicken kebabs, and my favourite the roast chicken. Choice of potatoes or chips and salad or vegetables. Good sized portions, all freshly cooked to order. Lots of choice on the menu and daily specials board which was great value too. A lovely relaxed family run restaurant, can't...
