Esporles is a small village between Palma and the Tramuntana coast. A perfect point for exploring the many hiking trails around the mountain massive.|The hostel is... a hostel. Simple and with no fuzz.|Very charming and family driven. Nice intimate feeling and with just the right small amount of being "worn out".|And indeed, some things could do well of some upgrade, especially in the rooms - even if most things are working. Bathrooms in need of some renovation.|Beds ok. |AC is present, which is great in a one star hotel!||The reception/lobby/lounge is the "living room" in the house and here breakfast is served (our outside on the terrace).|Breakfast is good and comes in a choice of three pre ordered menus. Quite unusual, but ... ok.||Access to the upper rooms are by very steep stairs. No elevator. But the manager offers help to carry the bags. ||Parking is in the street. Read moreWe chose this hotel as the starting point of our hiking trip along the GR221. The hotel is ideally located in the center of Esporles (GR221 arrow right in front of the door). Esporles as a village surprised us with it's charming and authentic atmosphere. It has a small boulevard on which there are some cosy bars and restaurants and a supermarket.||||We received a very warm welcome and stayed for two nights in a clean and comfortable room with private bathroom. We had our breakfast in the very charming little garden. The breakfast buffet was simple but everything we needed was there (coffee, bread, boiled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit,...). We regret not having diner in the hotel, because it smelled really nice when we returned in the evening and the cake (which we got for free with our evening drinks) was delicicious.||||Overall, we would very much recommend this hotel when staying in Esporles. We would definitely book here again if we would have the pleasure to come back here...
