The food was over priced and the portion was tiny. My 2 year old portion was bigger then mine (though it came out covered in salt, why on earth you would salt a kids meal, I don't know) She had chicken nuggets and I ordered chicken kebab (which I assumed would be chunks of skewered chicken with peppers, onions etc...) it came on 2 skewers (no thicker then a tooth pick) I would say not even half a chicken breast worth of meat, no peppers, no onions, no garnish, just 2 very small skewers and a handful of chips. 2 macaroni bolognese were ordered, both cold and again not a very generous portion. My father ordered John dory and it was the best meal of all, but still no salad garnish just fish and chips. Basic, boring and small portions, will not be back. Young female waitress was lovely the rest all seemed like they wanted to be anywhere but...

Let’s start with the view - it very calming to hear the ocean as you have a refreshing “caña” - beer. The girl assisting us, an Ecuadorian lady, was so friendly and helpful with the menu. As we waited we got warm freshly baked bread with olive oil, which prepared us for the deliciousness that was to come. I ordered the sardines. I thought it would be a small dish but it was fairly large for the price when compared to other dishes. My husband got the dorada, but I think I got the better deal. My sardines were salty, lemony, maybe had garlic ? What we they put in those things, they are exquisite!!! My son got the pasta bolognesa - it was decent, according to him. I would definitely come back again. Happy hour started at around 6ish - so we were glad about...

Once upon a time . . .

Once upon a time there was a scruffy old beach bar here. Then in 2014, i think it was, there was a building site for months on end. And then finally out of this chrysalis there was born this beautiful butterfly!

For Central Beach is indeed beautiful. Wide glass windows/doors that can be opened up to let in the cool air, closed to keep out the wind, and always let in bright light.

A modern masterpiece.

In 2016 they then expanded out onto the beach area with a board terrace. So even more places to enjoy a drink, a cake, a tapa, a full meal.

Because the food is as lovely as the premises. ...

The food was genuinely enjoyable; special compliments to the chef for preparing the fish so well. However, the service left much to be desired. While nothing major went wrong, the overall experience felt impersonal and inattentive. At no point did anyone check in to see if we were enjoying our meal or needed anything else. It gave the impression that guest care wasn’t a priority. A bit more professionalism and warmth from the staff would go a long way in creating a more welcoming atmosphere. Hopefully, this is something the management can work on, as the quality of the food certainly deserves better support from the front-of-house team

A mixed bag this place very busy as you would expect being on the beach front, our waitress was pleasant luckily we can get by with moderate Spanish but she was helpful and polite. My sardines were on the small side but nevertheless tasty 😋 my wife's tuna was an inch think and massive could have fed 3 people brilliant value just to big ( meaty flavour) ..Don't order the kids chicken nuggets get the burgers the pasta was good and the table bread was very fresh I enjoyed the bread just ask for butter. over all a nice lunch would I go back may be not.
