Sabores Gourmet — Restaurant in Estepona

This is a review from a year ago, but it is nonetheless very relevant.

Sabores is a fantastic restaurant in the "main street" of Estepona. We walked in there on a whim, and were blown away. The prices are more than fair, the food exceptional, and the service outstanding. One time, we came during a rainy day, unaware that the restaurant was "closed". We were still served a fantastic meal, including some pulpo that was TO DIE for. So delicious, well-seasoned, and flavorful.

I'm coming back to Estepona soon and am already looking forward to the multiple meals I'll be enjoying here. Seriously, this is a fantastic place in the area, and the service couldn't be any more personable...

Amazing food and service. The octopus and shrimp was excellent! By far the softest and tastiest octopus I have ever eaten. The chorizo was great as well, there were three of us fighting over the fourth chorizo piece.

Other dishes cooked on the wood oven were very tasty. The wait staff was very attentive and the chef came out several times to make sure we were having a great experience, to talk about the dishes and to offer us recommendations and ice cream for our daughter.

Had a meal here one evening when the place we intended eating at was closed. We both had the menu del dia which at €18 was excellent value. We had prawns and peppers with tuna to start, Dorado and secret pork for mains and a cheesecake and coffee for dessert which was all very tasty and well presented.
