EL RESTAURANTE GOURMET — Restaurant in Estepona

Gourmet is a small, very friendly little restaurant. When entering you are welcomed by a cosy interior with lucious red chesterfield sofas, the soft tones of jazzy piano music and the quietly friendly waiter. All very pleasing.

The menu is consize, with things that are not in the menu, but when asked for, are available, like the very good full mixed salad we had. Or things that are in the menu, but just not available, like the ravioli. They make one batch daily and when it's gone it's gone. First time we were there we were out of luck, but we came back for it today, only to discover that it was righteously sold out before: it was yummy and well worth returning for!

It's a pity the restaurant is near the A7. If you don't mind the noise of that road, you can very well sit outside. But the inside makes up amply for the less romantic outside. We were very content there. When you're on that side of Estepona, or passing through on the A7, I should very much recommand...

Absolutely the BEST coffee I've had in ages!! Fantastic quiche this morning, along with a chicken crepe, and also a slice of a cake that had strawberry filling. Delicious!!

The atmosphere is very cool - eclectic and tasteful but also low keys, and and the selection of bottled wine is great, as well!

I would have rated this service a 5, because the owner is a gem; very helpful and knowledgeable, but it seemed like he might have needed maybe one more person to help yesterday. Well the...

What a great little place…. A hidden gem, that should be discovered by everyone. Amazing decor and atmosphere. You can see a lot of love have gone into decorating the place. Wonderful home-cooked food that is made with love. Anna the owner is attentive and caring. Really my favorite place to go to relax for a coffee, a meal or a glass of wine. The small but exclusive selection of products to buy in shop adds a extra dimension to it all. Love it....
