We searched for a family-friendly beach club to take our baby for a nice lunch/day out and this was recommended. Even though the day bed was expensive and it was a bit of a drive from where we were we decided to do it.

We emailed the 3rd party website to book, they called us back saying that the sun beds could not be booked today but we could just go there directly.

We arrived around 4pm just to be greeted by an unwelcoming hostess that made us feel like she didn’t care if we came or not - I believe her name was Manuela. First we asked if we were in the right place, she replied without even looking at us saying “yes it’s here”. We asked for a sun bed just to be told kitchen was closing at 5pm because of a private event so knowing we had to spend 300euros in 1 hour we weren’t so sure.

This could have been told to us on the phone so we could make a better decision.

This hostess could have been more welcoming and not treat us like we were disturbing her especially seeing we were carrying a baby under the sun.

We nearly left but decided to take a look inside (did she care? Not really). As we walked in we liked the vibe and decided to just take a table to have a drink/snacks. A lovely waiter named Robert came to check on us and talked to us like we were actual humans so we decided to stay for lunch. The food was really amazing and we ended up spending over 200 euros at the table (so we could have taken the sun bed and paid 300 euros if we were better welcomed).

What made it worse was seeing the same hostess welcome a big group of young people to the table next to us being so kind, informative and even giving them advice. She actually talked to them like they were humans. To see the difference in how we were treated made us more upset.

We really enjoyed our lunch, Robert was fantastic and we really thought the place was beautiful but to know that service from a hostess can be so bad has turned us off. She needs some humble pie cos that was terrible. Even as we left both her and another hostess were looking at their phones and barely said bye to us (so fake and again didn’t seem to care). Its interesting how they pick and choose who to be kind to. Why? Cos we had a baby? Not pretentious looking enough? Money all looks the same when it comes out of a wallet.

Big thanks AGAIN to Robert and even the kind and lovely service guy at the parking (we didn’t get his name). We gave 3 stars for service for these guys otherwise it would have been less. And again food was amazing so we are thankful for that. And Manuela if you don’t like being a hostess get a job where you don’t have to face...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the beach club and had an unforgettable experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Jack, an incredible waiter who truly went above and beyond to make my day truly special.

From the moment I arrived at the beach club, Jack's warm and welcoming smile instantly made me feel at ease. His genuine enthusiasm and passion for his job were evident from the outset, and it became clear that he was committed to ensuring each guest had an amazing time.

Throughout my visit, Jack's attentiveness and efficiency were truly commendable. He effortlessly navigated the bustling beach club, always managing to find the perfect balance between being readily available and providing privacy when needed. It was as if he had an uncanny ability to anticipate my every need, ensuring that I never had to wait for anything.

What truly set Jack apart, however, was his delightful personality and engaging nature. Beyond being an impeccable waiter, he had a knack for making me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. He took the time to strike up conversations, offering recommendations and suggestions tailored to my preferences. It was evident that Jack genuinely cared about making my experience unforgettable.

Whether it was serving refreshments under the scorching sun, delivering mouth-watering dishes from the kitchen, or ensuring a prompt response to any request, Jack consistently delivered service with a smile. His professionalism, coupled with his warm and friendly demeanor, made every interaction a joy.

It is not often that a waiter can leave such a lasting impression, but Jack managed to do just that. His dedication, passion, and remarkable customer service skills undoubtedly enhanced my time at the beach club, and for that, I am sincerely grateful.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Jack highly enough. His exceptional service, coupled with his genuine warmth and genuine care for his guests, made my visit to the beach club an extraordinary one. If you have the opportunity to visit, be sure to ask for Jack as your waiter - you won't be disappointed. He is a true asset to the beach club, and I am confident that he will continue to create incredible experiences for every guest he serves.

Thank you, captain Jack sparrow, for going above and beyond. You made my day at the beach club truly memorable, and I will undoubtedly be returning to create more treasured memories...

Awful service and a scam.

We hosted a post-wedding gathering here the day after our wedding and, despite the beautiful setting, we left feeling upset and disappointed by how we were treated by the manager, Killian.

Toward the end of the event, Killian told us that despite spending €3,000 (double our agreed €1,500 minimum), we owed another €2,000 because our parents sat on two sunbeds. These were sunbeds a staff member had personally shown them to, saying they were covered in our booking. If they weren’t, why didn’t anyone mention it at the time? The ones we had paid for were right next to them. When we asked Killian, he said he didn’t want to embarrass our parents but instead, he raised the issue in front of our guests, embarrassing us.

When asked to speak to Killian privately, not infront of our guest, his tone turned aggressive. He dropped the extra charge from €2,000 to €500 for no clear reason, and when my husband hesitated, Killian said, “You can afford it.” - presumptuous, inappropriate and offensive. We paid to avoid a scene but it felt like coercion and a scam. We still don’t know why we were charged at all, Killian confirmed in writing we’d already spent well over the minimum.

Other issues followed: a young female guest briefly lost her engagement ring and was screamed in her face at by Killian when she found it. My mother and other guests was refused help booking taxi. A waiter admitted to forgetting to charge someone for their lunch in the restaurant, he admitted this was his mistake but when he asked Killian, Killian said I had to pay the €125 - without proof they were even our guests.

When we asked for a refund of the €650 the next day, Killian refused and said in writing we got a few free drinks. He apologised about his aggressiveness but it is unacceptable, we are considering our legal options given the amount of money we feel has been taken unfairly form us. Frankly, we’d rather have skipped the drinks and been treated with respect.

As the bride, I left the venue in tears. Please let me know how I arrange a phone call with someone in senior leadership here, do not leave a generic apology like you have the other poor reviews - we have proof everything in writing of how we...

I had the opportunity to visit Nido Estepona on June 23, 2023, from 13:30 to 17:30, and I would like to share my review based on different aspects of the experience: Food: I opted for the traditional paella, which, although delicious, was slightly saltier than I prefer. However, the portion size was ample, ensuring that there was plenty of food to go around. Additionally, I must mention that the olives and bread served were absolutely amazing. Overall, the food at Nido Estepona was really good, with the exception of the slight saltiness in the paella. Service: The service at Nido Estepona was impeccable throughout my visit. The staff members, especially Jack and Victoria, were exceptionally friendly, efficient, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met and provided a high level of customer service. Their presence and dedication significantly enhanced the overall dining experience. Atmosphere: The choice of music at Nido Estepona, particularly the Organic house genre, was on point and matched my preferences. However, the volume of the music was not as loud as we would have liked. Nonetheless, the overall atmosphere was beautiful, relaxing, and enjoyable. Moreover, there weren't too many people around, which added to the peaceful ambiance. It's worth noting that the beach club is located a bit out of the way and may require a taxi to reach, but the availability of ample parking is a convenience. In conclusion, Nido Estepona provided a really good dining experience overall. The food, despite the slight saltiness in the paella, was enjoyable, and the olives and bread were exceptional. The service, particularly from Jack and Victoria, was impeccable, as they were friendly, efficient, and attentive. The atmosphere, although the music volume could have been louder, was beautiful and relaxing, with a limited crowd. If you don't mind the beach clubs slightly remote location, Nido Estepona is a great choice due to its captivating ambiance, delicious food, and outstanding service.

We’re lucky to live right next door to Nido, and it’s been amazing to have such a stylish, high-quality beach club just steps away. Even better, they’ve consistently gone out of their way to take care of us neighbors at The Edge and create a great sense of community. It really feels like a partnership, and we hope that continues as they grow. We’ve attended two standout events recently: their season opening party, which had incredible energy, music, and ambiance—and the San Juan flamenco celebration, which was absolutely magical with live music, firelight on the beach, and an authentic flamenco performance. The food is just as memorable. We loved the Andalusian-style clams, codfish croquetas, grilled sea bass, and octopus—all fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. The cocktails are equally impressive, and the service is always welcoming and professional. A special thank you to Kilian, the manager, who is absolutely amazing—professional, kind, and always going the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly. His leadership really sets the tone for the whole experience. Nido continues to set the bar for beachside hospitality in Estepona. We’re proud to be neighbors and look forward to many more seasons of working together and enjoying everything they have to offer.

Friends did tell us the service was bad but we decided to check for ourselves. When arriving, had to wait 20 minutes before they took our drink order.. The bar service is super slow, every time we had to wait for around 20 minutes. Which is a no go in a beach club. Which I don’t understand, they had 3 barman behind the bar. Unfortunately no music, ‘for the neighbours’ but low music is always possible. Seems it’s not an adult only beach club, which I do not understand. Today we didn’t had children, luckily because of there was I would have made a scene. This is not a children’s place. Pool pretty cold as well. The food was very good tho! We had to ask salt & pepper, which should also be a standard delivery when eating. 3 times we had to ask again for the 3 last cocktails. Of course this isn’t Opium, which is more expensive but so much faster service and better place. But you cannot compare both. Service charge of 24€ which isn’t mentioned nowhere. If when asking the bill we had to wait 10 minutes. Very pretty beach club tho but not worth it. So for 3h with a bill of 266€, I wouldn’t do it again. This isn’t a beach club a would recommend. There is a lot of work to improve, and it seems that people had the same bad experience 3 years ago already when checking the reviews.
