Absolutely embarrassed. They block the only path along the shoreline used by locals. They take an order for coffee to take away and pour hot coffee into a plastic cup for cold drinks. And when you do them a favour to still buy their definitely overpriced coffee they behave like if it were them who do you a favour. They won't only show their disrespect and arrogance to you, they will tell you this: "i do you a favour by letting you buy this coffee". They hate children. They occupy the public beach, they go to little children sitting on the beach and will remove them from the beach. People like them should never occupy such a place, used by local families, where locals walk and enjoy sunsets. Those who I know hate their services. I did them a favour to buy that coffee daily. My mistake. All my neighbors are embarrassed by this unprofessional place. They want to report it to the city hall. Arrogance is above everything else. Unprofessional, not nice, they occupy the public place and block the public path. They disrespect families, disrespect clients. The worst place we have ever seen (and we have seen not one restaurant in 18 countries). Not only absolutely not recommended. Someone should remove them from there. This review is not spontaneous at all. They got a very serious official complaint on disrespecting basic clients and children's rights to use the public beach, with photos and recordings of arrogant unprofessional talk of their Blondie manager who was blackmailing and threatening an old client with little kids only because the set down on the beach just near the restaurant (!!!) after buying their coffee (!!!). They didn't find enough professionalism in them to answer the complain. This place should not exist. The Blondie woman who call herself a manager should never work with people at all. For those who value their time especially with children and look for a unique and nice place to eat well and spend valuable time with kids with wonderful places to play for kids Cortijo Luidze nearby, there when they take your money you won't be treated like they do you a favour.
Just to answer your response below: as I mentioned I made a photo of children sitting on the sand on the beach and not on the path just before this ridiculous thing happened and after that I recorded what and how the blond woman who calls herself a manager was saying. Don't you call it misunderstanding because it would be a huge lie. The arrogance, ignorance and in fact hate which the woman has in her makes keeping her in this role not only a misunderstanding or a mistake, it's a crime to let her and those like her working with people. She is not capable of that. A restaurant like this one should not occupy public places and the beach is 100% a public place. Not one person told me that they don't like the way the workers treat people, not one person resigned from using your services. All of them are locals who don't wish to be treated in this kind of unprofessional way. Again, you have great guys there, you were lucky enough. But that one, after what I recorded, and after I sent you this recording, keeping her there means only one thing, you disrespect all your clients thanks to whom you...
Read moreOur experience at this restaurant was appalling. Having been recommended it by word of mouth we were looking forward to spending the day there with our children. I emailed several times to try to book sunbeds but no response. The phone was never picked up. On arrival all beds were taken and I was told I should have written a note in the comments section online - this is not mentioned on the website. Anyway, we decided to stay for lunch. My fathers fish was raw/uncooked in the middle, the adult salad was more like a chicken nugget affair served to children. The pork was chewy, overcooked and generally all the food was completely underwhelming (especially the prawn pil pil). We returned the fish which was taken off the bill but when we complained to the waiter about the rest of the food we were told to ‘look at the rest of the people in the restaurant enjoying there meals’ they couldn’t care less that our experience was terrible. Made worse by the incredibly rude waiter who went on to actually raise his voice to us after we had been very polite in our complaints. The manager was equally unhelpful and dismissive. I certain wouldn’t recommend this establishment when you can get a much higher standard of food pretty much ANYWHERE along the coast at fraction of the price and won’t be treated as though your opinions aren’t valid after paying an extortionate bill for substandard service and food. Give me sardines cooked on the beach by unpretentious people who understand Spanish food any day of the week. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME...
Read moreWe stayed just 5 mins away and on last day, went for lunch. I have made a what's app reservation, in Spanish, when we arrived there was no record of it . Luckily I did, we were begrudgingly given a table in the sun, even though my reservation asked for by the beach, but at this point we were tolerated. We sweated away a 70 euro much in 30 mins. Unless you are a local, group booking, you will not get any attention even if it's hot and you need a drink. I ordered pasta with gambas, worst I have ever had. I lived in Cadiz for a year , and otherwise I know how to cook a prawn. It was mush. Not even de-veined. The pasta, okay I'm in Spain not Italy, but again, mush. I think it had clearly been cooked and re-cooked. My friend 's chicken salad was a re heated breaded chicken. I think this restaurant saw these two English tourists coming and served us crap, news flash, English people do know decent food and we were fobbed off. Google it. Also, bit of a nightmare when said English tourist spent 18 months in cadiz, amongst many other places in the world ,and knows what we should expect. Disgusting. You charged us over 25 euros for that rubbish. Also, I knew you had a difficult front woman as I had read reviews, lose her, unless you happy to just serve your locals. If so, keep going.... but your...
