Rick's Café Centro — Restaurant in Estepona

If you want to get assaulted for no reason and get physically hit in your face as a non-Spanish customer after perfectly paying for drinks you should go here.

We were here for an hour, enjoying the live music and having a nice talk with friends. When we wanted to check out Reinaldo and passed the street, we were banned because one of us was wearing shorts. So we returned to this place because it was a nice place, but the security suddenly blocked our entrance at this place too for unclear reasons (maybe because they were in contact with the other security people). So we asked what was the issue, but they became agressive. We wemt away but, for some reason the security slapped one of us in his face, without reason! He nearly blacked out and wondered what be did wrong, but the security was just very very agressive and didn't give us any reason and aggressively assaulted us. They urged us to leave. So ultimately we did, but our friend was left with bruises and a sore face, and the people of the security just put pressure on to leave even though we didn't do anything wrong! So we turned to our friend to care for his hurt face, and went home. But no this behaviour is unacceptable from this security people. I would recommend this place or Reinaldo, because they apparently dislike of non Spanish People even though we were coming over as friendly. These people have been given too much power and they are corruptly abusing it. ...

Love this place been coming for years. Fantastic for drinks. I have put 5 stars for food which is for the drinks. The service is one of the best in Estepona. The team here are amazing, super attentive, efficient and loads more. The level of professionalism is outstanding. I love that sometimes I pass by and see them dancing and it shows how well the all work together. They are always so happy working with eachother and with the customers they love engaging and always make time to talk to you. The venue is not very big but have a great terrace. Heated in the cooler times. They have the best kept toilets also. I want to give a big thank you to Juancho, María and the team, they are an absolute joy to come and see and they love what they are doing and it is so apparent. As always I love you all. Been coming to this bar for 6 years now Mrs old man has retired over hear so were in Estepona at least 4 times a year. Love watching sports etc and little night out at ricks also The place has always been been 7/10 but the last 6months seen a change. Not that it makes any difference but work in hospitality as a regional chef manager. And I’m not mad for putting reviews up but the lady AIDA that works there take a bow. Seen here running round on her own in Feb on her own running the place and here in July now and she is still providing amazing service with a smile.

To the owners honestly just wish the staff downstairs work as hard as her. The difference for asking for a drink upstairs to downstairs is like a different establishment Thank you Aida and...
