Bar Restaurant Aquario Cala Galdana — Restaurant in Ferreries

We have been coming to Cala Galdana for the last 8 years and always eat at the Restaurante Aquario. We rent as a large family, a villa and eat out in the evenings. We have tried others, but this is by far the best!.

Carlos and Miguel, the main waiters do a superb job offering advice on their menu, especially the fish!. They are both friendly and welcoming to their customers. They have watched our two children, Phoebe and Toby grow up, and never forget their favourite foods..........even before they have ordered!. This gives a personal touch, which you can see throughout the restaurant, with other diners.

This year they have introduced a new menu, which is excellent!. The new chef is also superb, and although the food has always been very good, this chef has taken it to a new level.

The restaurant is placed ideally, right on the beach, which enables the children to go and play while you have your meal, but can see them all the time.........or call them when their meal is ready. You never feel rushed, it's a relaxed atmosphere.

We can't thank Carlos and Miguel enough for making our visits memorable of the past eight years! Recommend you try the Restaurante Aquario.

Good location, if you are at the beach and want to have a drink or eat is perfect, but the service is a disaster. I asked for a few drink and realised price was diferent, ask the reason and was told it as a glass deposit ( plastic glasses) would be returned if I bring glasses, soon as I paid i see an employee throwing plastic glasses next to me in a bin....when I wanted to return my glasses to get the deposit I have been ignored literally ignored for ages, when this very nice girl finally came with an attitude to me and arrogance got my deposit back, me saying thank you so much and getting nothing from her... If you pay for a service at least you hope its a good one...not to be treated...

We have always came to this place we always get a warm welcome for Miguel and all the staff who we’ve know for years , it will be bitter sweet coming back this sept 2022 , after my husband Tom died very suddenly and unexpectedly in 2020 ( heart problem) but our son Scott returns with me to say a few thank yous for all the beautiful messages cards and telephone calls from menorca , tom absolutely loved it in Cala galdana , despite him travelling the world and we’ve visited some stunning places in 40 years , but he always felt at home here , I hope I manage not to be a complete mess when I step inside this beautiful place again...
