What a gem - plain on the outside, a bar just inside and tables at the back, no looking anything super special - but the food IS. The service is great too - they didn't speak a lot of english but google translate got us sorted out, as did a youngster related to the owners who practiced her english while helping us finalise the order - a really nice, friendly, local, atmosphere. Yes, there is a menu with starters and mains (and maybe dessert too, can't recall) for €16.50, which included half a bottle of wine! But we treated ourselves to a shard 500g cut of local steak, which was cooked to perfection and was the tastiest steak cut of meat I've had for years. I thoroughly recommend visiting...

A family-run restaurant with warmth, hospitality and a great value for money. They have the menu of the day for both lunch/weekday (EUR13) and dinner/holiday (EUR14) as of 2021. We tried soup (which had a poached egg in it!), cannelloni, sausage and entrecôte (extra EUR5). The steak had a nice grill flavor. The three course dinner started with Tostada con tomate (?). Authentic family run restaurant in the heart of the city. Very lovely and helpful people who care about the food and experience. My wife and I had the house plate of meats for two and got more food than we could stuff in our empty stomachs after a day of travel. The lamb and pork were our favorites, but the chicken and beef were also great! The complimentary garlic and tomato toast was really cool and tasty and we had a Catalan Brule for desert which was probably better than any I've had.
